So Tired of Klay’s Attitude. Here’s the Difference between Klay and Kuminga when they mess up.

First quarter Klay has a bad entry pass, and instead of getting back on defense because it does look like a lost cause, Klay complains to the ref.

Third quarter Kuminga has a sloppy pass, and instead of giving up on a lost cause, Kuminga hustles back for the contest and block.

Sure Klay may not have the athleticism or youth of Kuminga, but at least put in the effort. Even a 1% chance is still a chance. You never know how the opponent will react if they hear footsteps. Hell a lot of Dubs players right now don’t react well when they hear footsteps….so many missed bunnies.

  1. So Klay needs to make shots. I think he can. Hopefully at least.

Never in his whole life could Klay could have blocked that shot like JK. No matter how much effort he put in. Not even 1%.

  2. damn the klay vid is horrible, he could have easily caught up if he had even bothered to try

Still the media is going to amplify jk’s mistake but look away when other players did worst.

Klay hustling back would have been nice but he’s not catching or stopping Jalen Williams

  5. FadeRanger

Curry does the same thing, if he misses a shot he gets back to defense right away.

wtf it was literally a kick ball. anyone would have argued with the ref. shut up man

Yeah Klay is a big sulker but this small sample size is entering cherry-picking territory. Nevertheless, shave Klays minutes for Mood.

On a more positive note about this, Kuminga’s attitude and tenacity is so much better than last season. He’s not hanging his head when he makes a mistake, and he doesn’t over play himself on either defense or offense in order to try and prove himself/ make up for the mistake anymore. He’s staying a lot more composed and it’s a great development to see

  9. I remember seeing that and being like wtf? Obviously Klay isn’t known for his lebron style chase down blocks but at least make an attempt and make them work a little, that was super weak

It’s an accountability thing. Kuminga hustles cause if he doesn’t Kerr’s gonna yank him. Klay gives up cause there’s no repercussions.
