When Giannis Antetokounmpo was ejected in the 3rd quarter, things looked shaky for the Milwaukee Bucks. Down by 10 in the 4th quarter, the Bucks leaned on a Damian Lillard, Cam Payne, Malik Beasley, Jae Crowder and Brook Lopez lineup to close it out. With a heavy dose of Dame Time and solid defense anchored by Brook Lopez, the Bucks were able to find a way to win. Bucks fans…how are you feeling after this game?! Did you expect to see a Dame/Cam/Malik/Jae/Brook lineup close the game in a winning fashion?
Bucks ran a lineup of Ajax, Jae, Brook, Marjon and Dame for those few minutes Ajax played. Something gelled with our defense and it went from being a turnstile to a force of nature the Pistons were having to deal with. Piston are damn lucky Ajax quickly collected 3 fouls otherwise that Gelled Up defense was gonna put that entire team in Jail. OMG, Ajax really is a more athletic version of Draymond Green. I can't wait to see this kid get some real burn with the one's. If he can figure out that foul problem Bucks will have a defense fit for a championship team! Bucks in Six!

As a Portland fan, it's fun watching Buck fans realize that Dame time isn't a once in a while occurrence but is actually a near constant. Enjoy pulling out wins with floor lineups that make no sense even when Dame isn't shooting well. It's literally the only reason Portland was remotely relevant this entire time. Hahaha
Dame dragged teams that really had rosters that belonged in the lottery into the playoffs over and over again just like this. I'm glad he's finally in a time zone and on a good team so people can witness how consistently he pulls wins out of a hat like a magician without it making any sense.
Oh, and there's pretty much a yearly tradition that there's going to be a month where he basically averages over 40 so you can look forward to that. 😁

I see more synchronization as the season moves along. I give coach Adrian credit for trying out different line ups. Coach Bud didn't utilize Jae very well. Defense needs to improve. And the fact that they won without Giannis (in the fourth quarter) Khris is encouraging.

Mentality is building up. Dame time, Splash time…..Jae, Malik, Cam up there. And the most stupid ejection in the history of NBA, so stupid it looks suspicious. What if that was playoffs? Someone was betting some money there. And…what about the fans paying all this money to see Giannis play and then he gets ejected like THAT???
My Michigander wife started singing “Detroit Basketball” when the Bucks went down by 10. I told her my Bucks are not losing to the sorry Pistons. So glad we won and I got to say told ya. Been listening to her gloat over the Lions for two seasons.

I don't agree with Frank that Giannis did not play well. He missed some shots, but he played great, especially on defensive end. You don't get 9 rebounds and 3 blocks in 22 minutes if you are not playing well.
This game was so confusing, Beasley actually came up with clutch defense and we got Dame Time the BIG Brook Lopez Time ! Crazy Entertaining Game!
Andre needs to be Giannis’ direct substitute. Needs playing time to work through inconsistencies and learn. Should be a priority for the team.
Beasley & Cam Payne are good pieces to have on the bench. They are guys who can come in late in games and get their own basket. However, with Dame, we finally have a guy late in games can get clutch baskets wen everyone is building walls to stop Giannis.
How many games did we lose last couple of years when we didn't have scorers to counteract opponents going on runs.
Giannis hadn’t been playing well in the 1st half. It was the first 3 mins of the 2nd half that he began actually looking like himself—right before he got ejected 😑

Here are my takeaways from this season so far…
1. Damian Lillard's ability to close games is the reason why we traded for him, and our offense in crunch time is now a strength.
2. It's pretty clear that Giannis has worked hard on improving his jump shot, but we are at the point where it doesn't look like it will ever get better.
3. When Khris is in the game, the Bucks are elite on offense. The season is dependent on his ability to play 30 mins a game during the playoffs.
4. Brook and Bobby bring unique things to the table offensively, but our best defensive lineups are with Giannis at the 5.
5. The race for rotation minutes is an interesting sub plot that we will monitor all season. Current rankings are… 1.Crowder, 2.Marjon, 3.Beasley, 4.Cam, 5.Pat, 6.AJJ… I'd be happy if this is how it played out this season, but I wouldn't mind seeing AJJ climb the list.
I just think the league doesn't like small market teams, and the refs behave accordingly.
What really has to happen is during games have an assistant gather all the missed calls against Giannis in a game and have the head coach go over them all during his post game interview. That'd be great. They could do it every game, look here's the 90% of the times Giannis is fouled with no calls per game. That would embarrass officials.

TWERP! loved it adding it to the repertoire, still the same issue we need to figure out somehow to guard the small speed guards. but love griff adjustments to throw them off. maybe AJJ and marjon thrown at them to hound and use their fouls up could help.
If we can get a little – I mean a little defensive resistance and Giannis stays in downhill more aggressive on the boards we won’t lose to anyone – I need him to get healthy and just be mode active in the minutes he plays and that’s on the offensive and defensive rebounds. Downhill and just be aggravating 💪🏾🔥
