The organization from players to coaches think highly of him.

Credit were it’s due, Dennis has been a homerun signing from the front office. Crazy how my image of him has changed from his young trolling days. I watched his VLOG the other day from a few weeks back during the 3 game losing streak. One of his dudes asked him if he was going out and he was like nah I can’t, we just lost 3 straight.

His advance metrics are still the same as they were 2 years ago.

I think we can all agree that Malachi’s redemption arc has the potential to be one of the greatest comeback stories in our history and possible the NBA but it certainly makes me wonder who else we “lost” because they didn’t play well with NN or in “his” system.
There are certainly guys that have regular spots on other teams and are even balling that we thought weren’t even good enough to be in the NBA.

I almost see this as his rookie season. He’s played so little and mainly with 2nd/3rd units. He shows flashes of NBA skill but also flashes that he’s just a G league player.

As long as the players and coaches have his back then no one else matters.

Would have been different if he had Kyle around during his development as well. I know he was there during the first year but still. Glad he’s getting a good run and trust.
