I hope a rockets get out the slump soon, but I do think it’s a good learning situation and it will keep the humble and fighting hard every game
When AlP defense was 'atrocious' last year you tried to put the accountability of the other players to make up for it. Now you put Jalens 'atrocious' defense solely on him and dont make the same claim of the team making up for his defense. Those who know expect the hypocrisy. Blacks are the real Jews
Jalen's shot selection is terrible. he's a SG shooting 27% FG and 23% from 3pt. he got benched because he is an overrated scorer. sengun has been the best player since we drafted him.

Jalen needs to mature. The "He's Young" excuse is not going to cut it. He needs to figure it out. Especially with the amount of stock we have invested on him.
Jabari was a pleasant suprise. Needs to keep it up cause this team needs him every night to play at that level

"year 3 leap" is from when guys spent a few seasons in college first. They were 23, 24 years old and entering physical prime. Jalen is 21. This is what you get when you draft teenagers.
Sometimes we forget that these young guys are only 21 years old. I think, we need to give Jalen some more time.
I don't think the Houston Rockets are in decline, they are still a very good team, they just have a very low shooting percentage. The 3-point success rate needs to improve. I don't think a 20 percent statistic is good for Jaleen Green.

Jalen’s biggest issue is defense, his left hand, and lack of pace and awareness on offense. He needs to play more methodical on offense and pick his spots when to explode. The game is still slightly too fast for him right now mentally
Jalen Green still looks like a 21 year old AAU player. Great athlete – but not a basketball player yet.
Guys do we think JG has the mental make up to recover and be " that guy " we need.
That’s just coaching he needed to be benched. He will be ok just have to calm down.
Hopefully Jalen can respond to this well as Jabari did. He has to know that the way he was playing defense is just wasn’t acceptable.
Also he needs to work on his handle so he doesn’t turn the ball over and he needs to keep shooting the mid range shots because he can’t keep trying to use his speed to get to the rim it’s not going to work all the time.

Why does Jalen need to be the guy? I think people are confusing basketball archetypes with hierarchy. Just because he's a sg doesn't mean he needs to be the go to scorer. This type of thinking is how teams end up dysfunctional. We're seeing what his role is right now. Who he is right now when we need to win and players need to be held accountable. Stop calling him the guy. Let him be who he is.
