It’s so hard to do these kinds of lists with the amount of talent in the league, but there’s no way Rudy is only 66th in the league. The gap between him and KAT isn’t close to 36 players
UltraMoglog64
They’ve really gotta update their brief bios. KAT’s is just insulting.
SirDiego
Kinda weird putting KAT at 30 with that blurb. Isn’t being a top 30 player in the league pretty dang good? I know he’s a #1 overall but like what are his expectations that he’s allegedly not living up to?
natanator500
I know I shouldn’t care about these lists but Klay Thompson above Gobert rn is basketball malpractice
SoupedUpMoped
Imagine looking someone dead in the face and saying you’d take 17 guys over Ant. Should hook these guys up to lie detectors to see if they’re actually that stupid.
Watzp0ppin
These lists are always so off. How is Tyrese Maxey at 52 when LaVine is 39 and Ja is 19?? They also have Kevin Looney ranked one spot ahead of Chet lol. I guess regular season team success doesn’t matter at all. I doubt any metrics are used to justify these rankings

Pina said on twitter they didn’t actually update the rankings, just blurbs for some players

I purposedly haven’t read or heard anything coming from Simmons camp for years and I think I’m better off without it.
Nothing more than uninformed clickbaity hype.
pokemonxysm97
They had rudy go down 14 spots from the start of this year. 14. Rudy is below bigs like JJJ, Julis motherfucking Randle, Tingus Pingus, Evan Mobely, and Myles Turner, and below other players like Draymond, Aaron Gordon, Dejounte Murray, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson (who went up btw), Austin Reaves, and Josh Giddey. Unreal disrespect. Actually awful. Jaden down 14 as well. Horrible list
penis_hernandez
Ringer player rankings lists are useless crap meant to generate clicks. Not serious stuff happening with regards to how often they are allegedly updated.

The Rudy blurp is hilarious: IN-SEASON ADJUSTMENTS What a return to form for Gobert, who isn’t just defending the paint well, but doing so at an all-world level once again. It seems crystal clear in retrospect that the lack of a real break (due to international competition in the summer) took its toll on Gobert last season. He looked slower and stiffer in rotation, and the mental exhaustion of playing year-round may have contributed to Minnesota’s slow start. This season, Gobert and the Wolves flipped the script. The preeminent rim protector of his generation looks refreshed and ready to turn away all who dare to challenge him inside. —Rob Mahoney
How can you write something like that and lower his ranking by 14 spots?
fakeemail33993
Damn, all that is pretty spot-on tbh
MonoJuice
Yea I’m not taking 17 players over Anthony Edwards. ESPN was more on the money with him being #13 and he’s already proving to be way better than he was last season so that automatically should move him up 2-3 spots
The-Borax-Kidd
Based on this season there are quite a few players WAY too high on this list:
Jimmy Butler (trending up… how?), Anthony Davis, Jamal Murray (trending up), Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Kay Thompson (trending up)
Gobert is WAY too low (trending down too…). He should be above everyone I mentioned above except for Davis and Butler.
Middleton is way too low. Scottie Barnes and Derrick White are also way too low (at least they’re trending up). Alperen Şengün is also much too low (and is trending down somehow?)
Edit: Missed Maxey because he’s absurdly low too.

KAT’s description is so fucking disrespectful
JackieDaytonaAZ
half the league has crazy ass egos but KAT gets so much shit even by national media for a couple podcast comments. incredibly annoying
tulaero23
Wtf was that KAT blurb. Not the biggest fan but why put something so disrespectful.
It’s like saying Stephen curry, one of the best player ever but still a 3-1 choke
SotaWolf01
I’m pretty sure this is the rankings from before the season?
Correct_Fly5152
That’s great.
Not here to hate on Wiggins l, but is he fairly ranked at 50. Ahead of Maxey.

Rudy being 66 and trending down is a joke
Gobert 30 spots below Draymond I’m SICK
