[Andrews] Chris Paul on getting ejected by Foster: “We had a situation years ago and it’s personal … don’t use a tech to get your point across. He says there was situation with his son and there was a meeting while he was with the Clippers with himself, Foster, Doc Rivers, and Paul’s dad.

Families involved and the league doesn’t look into this? This is some crazy conflict of interests jeez…

  2. MrJack0000

Chris won’t let himself get two techs unless something related to his family.

  3. This_was_hard_to_do

Honestly I would have never imagined there would be so many family members involved in this beef

  4. Robotsaur

Seems kinda ridiculous that the league hasn’t done something about this if it runs this deep

  5. Currymvp2

It’s a bit absurd that the NBA continues to allow Scott Foster to officiate games where Chris Paul is playing.

  6. BeetLover1111

Kind of seems like Scott Foster shouldn’t be officiating when CP3 plays because it’s a conflict of interest

The league needs to look into this. I need someone on the team to just take the fine and say it out loud

  8. Sharp_Platform_3530

Where can I watch the post games interviews ?

  9. SCalifornia831

We knew and benefited from this when CP3 wasn’t on the Warriors….now that he is, let’s not pretend we’re outraged by this

Edit: you’re really going to downvote me for stating the obvious that Foster has had a grudge against CP3 for years and it’s been obvious

    Ladies & gentlemen…

    Adam Silver’s NBA! 👏👏👏

I’m going to guess maybe his son attended a game court side and there was some incident with Chris’s son? Or maybe they ran into each other in another setting and Scott said something about Chris to his son…..

NBA refs and Supreme Court Justices have the same ethical requirements, I guess.

I watched the clip and CP3 is saying that there was an incident that involved his son a few years ago when he was on the clippers. That’s why there had to be a meeting where CP3’s dad, Doc Rivers, and Scott Foster was all there to hash it out. He didn’t say what it was about other than that all these parties know what happened and so does the league.

If only Doc was the one calling this game… lol

  14. What’s crazy is whenever you watch NFL games you see the coaches lay into the refs. Then afterwards they just walk away and that’s that. It’s crazy how NBA refs just give you a tech in an argument, can even toss you out, and just give the other team free throws. Ideally, techs should be reserved for fights or physical altercations. Techs just for arguing just puts the refs in control of the outcome.

Never would I think in 1000 years I’d be on CP3s side

wait, so this is not just us talking shit now then? there is actually something that had happened between these 2 off the court? why the fuck does the nba allow this to continue happening?

  17. Any ref who takes a grudge into a game should be fired for cause.

  18. Possible-Purpose-701

wait and no one knows what happened? what possibly could have happened between families lol

Just checking in to see if any of the Warriors fans that are upset about a regular season game are willing to consider any impact on the WCF against the Rockets, or whether it’s only cheating when it goes *against* the Warriors
