Starting to get a little concerning

The fit has been much better since the lineup change. Defense had been fine (although Reggie cooking him in the clutch wasn’t great). But that’s not going to last if Terance can’t score. We can’t have people aggressively helping off Mann.

Believe it will turn around. But if not the Harden trade talk all offseason is going to look like a big mistake.

It’s called a slump. Most players go through them. He will be fine. Thankfully he contributes in many other winning ways on the court.

  2. Let’s just wait and see to make judgements we have a hard stretch with the pelicans, mavs, kings, warriors twice and nuggets coming up that’ll indicate if the lineup change and trade ultimately pays dividends we have yet to play any good teams this season besides the magic, Knicks and mavs.

Mann has at least played good defense but he needs to be able to make those corner 3s no exception. But again let’s wait and see how those 6 games go before making judgments we just played bad teams recently.

Should have traded him and kept the 26 swap. That’s going to be a disaster. Coffey and bbj could’ve stepped up if given the opportunity.

I think nephews here don’t realize how fucked we are in 2028, which is a whole fucking 5 years.

  4. He’s going to start hitting his averages I wouldn’t worry

I haven’t watched a single game but I bet harden is holding him back

Mann shot 21% from three in his first 16 games last year. But he finished the season shooting 39%. The team is going through a lot of changes right now with Harden.

I think Mann just needs more reps. He’s only started for 3 games. Let’s give him at least 10 games before we make an assessment on him.

Mann’s biggest weakness has always been his confidence taking outside shots. If he can get the right encouragement during this rough patch to keep shooting until he finds his stroke, he might finally have a mini breakthrough as a scoring option for us.

Thing is though, he has been incredible with the starting unit in spite of his almost nonexistent scoring. The defense is tighter, we have a guy that crashes the boards on both ends *with consistency*, and another offensive player that can help move the ball if the initial play breaks down.

If you watch the box score, he’s been awful. If you watch the games, he’s been a breath of fresh air.

Not everything is stats. He impacts the game in a lot more ways than the box score.

Mann can score but he doesn’t need to. Glue man.

As someone who didn’t like the Harden trade, one thing Im sure he’ll be able to do great for us is help out our younger guys. Guys like Maxey, who many people compared Mann to for some reason last season, had nothing but great things to say about Harden, so I hope Harden can teach Mann a few things offensively and take him to the next level.

Mann’s the new PJ. He’s going to do all the intangibles and not have pretty stat lines. But he doesn’t need to. Just hit a couple big threes a game and defend your ass off

  12. IgnorantGenius

Remember, Mann is like a starting role player who can play really efficient off the bench, even with Norm as a 6th mann.

Also, Mann was guarding Wemby the last two games.

    Roco 12 games with Philly:

    15mpg 4.6ppg, 43% FG, 26% 3

Except he didn’t miss an entire month with an ankle injury.

and everyone hates PJ tucker despite his impact to the game with same shit stats lol 🤡
