When your FT attempts is close to half your total points scored, incredible

how the f they got 52 FTs? were we that bad on defense…wtf is up with these refs…

ridiculous, disasterclass by the refs. On one side, a light pat gets free throws on the other the person could die and still not get any free throws.

just a shitshow. This should have been one of the most entertaining games of the week if the refs didn’t decide to fking steal the spotlight.

  4. Sure this game made me rip my Apple Watch off and throw it across the room so I’d stop getting spammed with high HR notifs, but that 4th quarter turned this game into yet another in a long list from the last 8 games – all against very good teams – that if you look beyond the surface of the box score, if the officiating had just 1/20th less f*ckery to it, we’d have won. In other words, if it weren’t for the officials, we’d still be winning these games *despite* the flaws we still need to work out AND while not having Dray or GPII.

So, if you ask me, at the end of the day we could’ve had the 2015-16 squad as our roster for these last 8 games and it wouldn’t have mattered with the officiating that’s gone on and that goes for the remainder of the season if the officiating continues like this. A game where the other team gets 52 FTAs (to the Dubs’ 29) despite being out scored in the paint 56-40 and where said opposing team got to play football against our guys on the other end without nary a whistle, is a game that was never going to be allowed to be won. So, accepting and acknowledging that, my takeaway from these games is if, and hopefully when, we are allowed by the league and its zebras to resume playing basketball once again, we’re going to win hella games.

Some of y’all will take this loss and fire up the doom sirens once again, but nah tonight just reaffirmed my confidence in our depth, which had been shaky a bit the last several games. Oh and one last reminder that our bench almost completed the comeback against the Suns starters in a game neither Draymond nor GPII, our two best defenders, played in.

This is the Chris Paul effect. First real downside of having him this year.

We weren’t great for sure but the whistle definitely added to it.

I mean . Unpopular opinion here.

Team had this problem last year, too.

Too much reaching in. Lazy defending . Team needs to adjust to the refs. At least. STOP REACHING SO MUCH!!!

Refs were shit ln. But this has been an ongoing problem for awhile

  10. You guys got to start blaming Draymond. Don’t think Draymond is helping this team by constantly talking shit to the refs and throwing people around ?

I heard a suns fan say: “Now I know how it feels to be like the Lakers.”

yeah, congrats to Scott Foster for giving you that feeling!!
