  1. 47.5% TS for the season

Even worse than his Lakers stint

  2. WembyOKCJokicReaves

Russ doing this on the minimum vs. 44M is a MASSIVE difference

    Easier to cut bait

  3. Didn’t he start the season playing well? Did going to the bench fuck him up that bad?

  4. Visible_Season8074

You can tell it’s bad because Westbrick was never efficient.

  5. Lucia4ever122

Super predictable. Last year he was great with PG and Kawhai injured. Now he’s gotta deal with not being able to play his ball dominant style, and he can’t do that.

  6. They brought in Harden, f’d with his role, and found out (but most already knew this could happen.)

  7. > It is the worst five-game stretch of his 16-year career.

This is the most shocking part of that whole tweet lol

  8. The Harden trade is a real head scratcher given how everyone has talked about Russ, especially the Clippers organization. At least they did him the solid of spinning his move to the bench as something he suggested.

  9. > It is the worst five-game stretch of his 16-year career.

    ….so far

I understood the irrational Russ fanbase after KD left OKC and then won MVP. Okay, sure. But this is 2023, almost 2024, and it still feels like he has at least 80% of that irrational fanbase left, even after he’s proven himself to not even be able to play any role off the bench.

  11. Heterosapien_13

And then people wonder why the Clippers have a losing record

  12. Fuck all the idiots saying clippers Westbrook is alright. He ain’t. He’s trash and his only value is his name attracting dumb fana

This entire thread is so stupid. His shooting has been bad over 5 games, but he’s also been their best defensive guard and it hasn’t been close. His +- and his on/off data all supports that Russ has been one of the few consistently positive players in that rotation. Part of the reason he’s having such a shit shooting split the last 5 games is because he keeps getting played with PJ Tucker and Zubac both on the court with him. You cannot play 3 non-shooters at the same time in the year 2023 and take yourself seriously. Players being played in lineups that don’t actually mesh with their skill set it’s not on the player. A lot of nephews in here don’t understand the word “nuance”

  15. Please trade him to the Spurs. He will transform that team in a positive way.

  16. SandyMandy17

Send him to the bulls please

He’s been 2 triple doubles away from 200 for 10 months

    >It is the worst five-game stretch of his 16-year career.

And he’s had some pretty rough ass stretches lol

Clippers trading for Harden took them out of this year’s Finals contention in my opinion.

Not to say Harden isn’t more valuable than Westbrook right now but losing depth and having his slow tempo/ball holding style of play is not what the Clippers needed.

  19. My biggest personal development is learning to just laugh at all the nephews that despise Westbrook when they come out of their holes

  20. TheSouthNeverRises

Westbrick is the most overrated player in NBA history. The only reason he even averaged a triple double is because OKC collectively treated him like a Make-A-Wish kid with one year left to live and let him do anything he wanted on the court. I swear they let him shoot like 50 shots a game, joined hands to form a wall around him so he could grab every rebound, and didn’t shoot unless he passed them the ball.

  21. PlayBey0nd87

**Are we forgetting the fact Harden’s there and eating into his time on the floor?**

It’s only 5 games – but I knew Harden was gonna be a negative effect on him

  22. AldiaWasRight

No no you don’t understand Harden is the weak link!

  23. DinerEnBlanc

People thought Westbrick found a place on the Clippers, but the truth is he hasn’t changed from his days as a Laker.

  24. KyrieWetUpCurry_

Not surprising, Westbrook with the ball in his hands will get you a solid 20/7/7, he just can’t coexist with any other ball dominant player.

  25. We were complaining about paying him what $40 million dollars?

Now you got complaining about him at $4m so what is it?

This sub was so sure the Lakers were not using him correctly

Checks in late 3rd down 1 and once he checks out in the 4th their down 9 just watch him play

  26. Dj3garrett

I watched every game of his when he was with the Lakers. This being his worse 5 game stretch says a lot because he was really bad with the Lakers. Russ is a bad player if the team isn’t set up to cover all of his flaws. Never heard so many fans blame a team so much for a player playing as bad as he did. “It was the Lakers fault because they didn’t let him have the ball every play, they didn’t have 40% 3 point shooters everywhere, they didn’t allow Russ to grab every rebound, and they didn’t have great rebounders to collect all of his bricks”. That’s pretty much what Russ fans say.

  27. ConceptNo1055

    Westbrook can’t play offball.

Maybe Luka and Trae with 8 shots and same usage will average the same.

That is why you appreciate those 3nD guys that puts 15/8 a game with only 7 FGAs

  28. StormSaniWater

Remember when Podcast P said Russ was still a top 25-30 players in the NBA and few weeks ago
