I don’t care how soft that call is, LeBron was fucking stupid for doing that when they’ve been calling this for WEEKS.

  2. Diligent-Use-7268

who tf does hanging on the rim harm to where the NBA sends you to Alcatraz for it.

  3. WhyyyLuigi

I’m tired of seeing this shit called, this and celebrating after a dunk tech calls are soft as fuck

  4. Lame. Players should be able to hang on the rim, offense and defense. Just three guys constantly hanging on there, king kong-ing away shots

  5. Carth_Onasi_AMA

Seems like there’s been more rim hanging technicals than flopping technicals so far this year.

  6. CrazyChatter

He got it for the pull up though, not for hanging on the rim.

  7. what a beautiful slam, very clutch and excellent pass from reaves

  8. shastmak4

If he doesn’t do this. Mitchell doesn’t shoot his tech ft and go over the 21.5 points I bet on. Therefore I love you Lebron and the refs that call this goofy shit

  9. lazzysmalls

I hope all these tech are protecting the breakaway rims from being damaged

  10. k1ngkoala

Realistically none of the dunks this season should’ve resulted in a technical. However if one dunk was to get one, this would be it. Lebron did that shit on purpose 💀

  11. Its weird to me the league has decided to go to war against these plays. Do any fans actually dislike it? Does it harm anyone? If anything it takes longer for you to get back on defense so you are only hurting yourself. Why all of a sudden has calling this become a priority?

  12. It’s not hanging on the rim that’s the issue. Zebras are calling the pullups on the rim.

  13. Otherwise-Tale9671

They care less about the hanging, and more about the pulling yourself up on the rim. That’s what gets called.

  14. spiattalo

The fact that players keep doing this when the rules are clear is a bit weird to me.

  15. MrEwThatsGross

Hilarious that this is the most consistent call in the nba

  16. GrootsHorticulturist

This tech doesnt bother me, i get the reason.

The showing emotion techs bug the shit out of my. Dunk cellys, anger reactions… let them feel the feels

  17. GrigglesGro

These types of techs really show how 99.9% of this sub has never played organized basketball before. This is a tech at every level and has always been a tech at every level.

  18. JesseJamesGames449

This one you can kind of see why its a tech, he does “pull up” but i have seen multiple already this season where a guy is holding on so he doesnt fall and gets a tech for it.. they need to fix this call.

  19. Oppai_sugoi_desu_ne

Yo let the old man catch his breath/footing nba

  20. You can’t pull yourself up like he did. Like it or not that’s correctly called.

  21. Fresh_Ostrich4034

Correct Call. He wasnt avoiding anyone just a tech

  22. DarkSeneschal

Glad we’re cracking down on the rim hangs instead of something inconsequential like flopping.

  23. Derrrppppp

For everyone that is complaining here – back in the 90s and 2000s, how many times do you remember seeing a player hang on and do a pull up on the rim? If you can’t remember, the answer is never. Because it was a technical foul. And all of them managed to land just fine without injury. Doing a chin up on the rim is not part of the game and it never has been. Get over it

  24. fuzzylarge

I’m glad the refs are cracking down on hanging on rims and not carrying balls or foul baiting, etc.

  25. K3TtLek0Rn

Point of emphasis this year lmao. The refs never cease to crack me up

  26. crudshoot

What the league needs is more technical fouls and replay!
