I love sitting around with friends and reminiscing about different Thunder role players over the years. So many different names with great memories attached to them. So I had the idea to create a Sporcle quiz that included every Thunder player back to the inaugural ’08-’09 season.

Take a few minutes this weekend and see how many you can come up with. After you play, come back here and comment your score and your favorite random player and why you remember them. The Sporcle interface is much better on desktop than mobile in my opinion, so I would recommend doing it on a computer to get the full experience.

Don’t know how to spell SGA and Poku so those were the two I missed. Been with the Thunder since day 1. Love this current iteration and hope we see years of success with this crew like we did with the first Thunder greats.
Got like 215/293 but missed Harden and Collison 😭
I say it frequently but doing this quiz is a reminder of how Presti was terrible at putting usable role players around the Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka teams.

Ended up with 159/293, then facepalmed when I saw some of the “easy” ones I missed.
Favorite random player would have to be Raymond Felton. He played well for us and was built like a tank, that man was thicc
It’s absurd how many names I couldn’t recall. I knew exactly who I was thinking of, how we acquired them, where they play now, just couldn’t remember the name. Muscala, saric, diallo, jerami grant, oladipo, sabonis, cam payne, ilyasova…
Also lol I forgot Isaiah Joe… I was staring at the blank spot on the current roster like “wtf how am I forgetting someone”
Doing this exercise really puts into perspective how deep this team is.
153, Can’t believe I forgot dort and collision :(. Also didn’t know how to spell bazley so that was annoying
243 of them. Thank god for my ability to remember shitty role players. I totally blanked on Schroeder though and I only remembered Collison near the last three minutes so I will accept any punishment I deserve.
I got up to halfway as my goal before I decided to stop. That was fun, thank you!
Notable players I forgot were Keyontae and Bertans from this year; Theo Maledon who I was super excited about; my man-crush George Hill; Terrance Ferguson and his flashes of excitement; Nerlens Noel—I just always liked him; Dennis Schroder; Kyle “the Singler Line” Singler; our year with Oladipo and Sabonis; Cam Payne and Dion; big Perk; Hasheem “You Can’t Stop” Thabeet; and “uncle” Jeff Green.
Completely forgot Shaun Livingston and Nate Robinson were on the team for a while.
Kyle Weaver and Nenad Krstic have always been my go-to Thunder deep cuts, but remembering “Backwards James” Semaj Christon was a particularly fun one.
Took me weirdly forever to remember Serge Ibaka!
170/293 isn’t bad for this being the first thing I did when I woke up. The most important thing is I got the entire roster from this year 😎 thanks for the fun quiz, OP!
