Why don’t you do something after the kings game?
Love your objective analysis, Ben.
I expect a defensive lapse without Jaden. NAW does a good job, but he's not quite Jaden. That might explain the increase in fouls….
How come you didn't go over the loss to the kings? I would think that the bigger talker is how badly this team gets beat up by teams who run excellent high ball screen actions. Finch had a tough time getting his team to adjust to those actions even with towns pressuring fox up the floor to release Edwards from those double ball screens. It's gonna be a problem going forward. Wouldn't be surprised to see OKC run those same actions with Shai. This time MC and Ant both struggled to fight through the double ball screens. Let's hope finch can show up with a better game plan and hand over more shake milton minutes to TBJ. If they are not going to get any offensive spark from Milton they might as well get a another good defender and rebounder on the floor who can make 3's every once in a while.
Ant really needs to just shoot less 3's and get to the line. He's such a streaky 3pt shooter. He's gotta shoot that shot when he's open and really limit his contested pull up 3's early in a possession. That part of his game is just unnecessary and dumb. He can learn to be a much more efficient player on the court and when he does the wins will follow and the scoring average will climb.
GET SHAKE OUT OF THE LINEUP!!!!!!!!
The vando year could handle the higher foul percentage because it was offset by creating turnovers. In a blitz system the TO are part of it. Defense that focuses on efg are great but they don’t create turnovers and the FT can hurt.
Good teams need identities where they are strong in 3 of the 4 factors.
Efg—- we got that
TO—-fifty fifty?
Reb—-no we are bad
Ft—-if we get hurt here we struggle
So we need to be average or strong in one of the last 3 factors.
If SloMo is the pg, why aren’t they looking at other ways to use the shake minutes? Wouldn’t the size and energy of the young guys help?
