  1. KCP and MPJ are definitely instantly going to bed, they looked gassed af on both ends. Luckily Reggie and DJ carried our offense.

Lowkey a rotation masterclass by Malone, too. Thought CB was gonna replace MPJ at the end but instead he plays 5 man out with MPJ at the 5 and it somehow worked.

  2. LabLeather8006

Reggie Jackson and Deandre Jordan have more rings than Paul George, James Harden and Russell Westbrook. šŸ™‚

  3. DJ leads with positive vibes from the bench for two years and one Championship. So when we need him to step up:

    DJ: 8-11 FG, 5 dunks, 21 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, +17.

I donā€™t want to be a hater, but Zeke had 7 boards. 0 of them were defensive. I like the 3 blocks and he was hustling, but he looks lost out there. And he shot poorly too for a back up big. At least he seems like a good teammate, but man, he doesnā€™t look like a nba rotation player

  5. So… the secret to our bench players playing like prime Shaq and Kobe is to just bench the best players? What even are these statlines lol

  6. No_Pension_4276

DNVR talking about DAJ conditioning – all we need is like 8 minutes from him. That doesnā€™t seem impossible at all. What a lovely night.

  7. MurrayFlurray

Team seems to just be continuing their elevated level of play since the Spurs game, especially the bench guys who were told by Malone that he was going to start giving other guys minutes.

Holiday, Strawther, Watson all look like they are desperately playing for their jobs out there which under Malone means making an impact defensively, and it is a great lift especially with our injuries.

Watson as expected still looks the most raw, but I love seeing him bounce back in games like tonight to be able to be in there in the closing minutes and actually contributing to the win. MPJ definitely didn’t carry us with our other big money guys all out, but he didn’t sulk and his rebounding and that shot at the end were enough from him. That’s a great sign for this team as a whole at least.

Holiday, Jordan and Jackson are all three some of the best vets the Nuggets could have in their situation. All three look the part on the court and seem to be even better for the locker room including when they were riding the bench. Maybe there were other options out there but these guys fit well here with no issues I can see or even imagine. As a Nuggets fan it seems a miracle and an upgrade over most years, and yet few people saw it as such this offseason.

I think we lose that game if Bones plays. And by that I mean if he plays for us

  9. bikehellion

Rockets about to be demolished Wednesday. Vibes are high, Mal coming back, AG and Jok rested.

  10. iAmAMileHigh

Is Reggie Jackson vs the Clippers the best nba player of all time?

  11. InsertWhittyPhrase

The craziest part about that win is we were also getting zero sympathy from the whistle. Refs were protecting the Clips superstars all night while Reggie and our rookies got hacked without a call.

  12. Savahoodie

Players to have 35+ points, 13+ assists, 5+ rebounds on 78% shooting

    Wilt chamberlain
    Reggie Jackson tonight

    Saw on twitter

  13. Our 3 starters took a day off. So did Clippers. How nice of them.

  14. WeirdRedBeard

Reminder that this would’ve been a 30 point blowout without the refball. Clips have the 2nd largest payroll in the L. Nuggets were missing like 103mil of theirs. I’d legit murder someone if I were Ballsmer

  15. What a game this was … Nuggets without Gordon, Murray,Jokic and MPJ shooting 20 % but its the ex written off Clippers Reggie and DJ dominating and leading team to the win!!

You could see they were motivated . Clippers even resorted to hacking DJ minutes before end to stop him ahahaha ..and kept going to FT line almost every possession themselves.

    Funny and amazing game

  16. BroncoSquatch

Btw, the hack-a-DJ is a legitimate reason we may not be able to rely on Reggie/DJ actions in playoff games. No perfect answers on that bench right now, imo

  17. snakejakemonkey

Watson 2 tough buckets in half court, the jumper over Russ and the bit of a prayer banked floatie

  18. lemondhead

Just saw the stats. Holy shit. Glad I have this one recorded.

I rarely feel bad for other fan bases, but I do kinda feel bad for Clippers fans. Just a historically incompetent organization. I saw someone in the arr NBA post-game thread say that lots of people are Clippers fans because those tickets used to be cheaper than Lakers tickets, so it was easier for poorer families to go to Clips games. Imagine growing up in L.A., having to go to Clippers games instead of FTL games, and then being stuck supporting them once you’re grown. What an absolute bummer.

Separately, I wish my big dumb buddy MPJ would play consecutive good games. He’s so fun to watch when he’s on. Maybe he’ll find some rhythm as the season goes on? In b4 WRB and malstr0em tell me this is just who MPJ is.

  20. Superbotto

Imagine going to this game as a Clips fan.

Find out that you don’t get to see the best player on the planet, and your team still loses.

  21. maddogfarm

4 hall of famers lost against second stringers LMAO

  22. connorado_the_Mighty

I hope all you shitheads who were hating on Reggie for his bad game are now equally lauding him for his great game.

  23. Glittering_Log_3340

Kinda funny that Collin and Pickett both got benched today

  24. DefiniteSauce12

Funny how Lou Williams was at the game today

  25. Glove_Upset

Bonesā€™ trajectory really feels like some kidsā€™ fable or Shakespeare story where the moral is about hubris.
