By Dillon grabbing Kyrie’s arm, it did disrupt Kyrie’s dribble. If Kyrie doesn’t flop, refs may not call the foul and Kyrie turns the ball over.
I am not sure a flop can be called if the foul is real.

There’s an argument that it should have been a no-call in real time, but every officiating crew in the league is upholding that challenge because it’s a foul; he grabs the arm.
This crew made far more egregious, indefensible calls. This was not one of them.

To my European football senses a flop is mostly called a flop, when no foul was committed. If it’s a foul and the dude is jumping to sell it or writhing on the floor, it’s still a foul, but embelleshing or whatever you wanna call it.
You can say, they should call a tech for embelleshing or something like that, but if you say it should be overturned because there was no foul, then you have your team glasses on.

I’ve come back around and now think we should get rid of the challenge review for calls. Refs double down on wrong calls often enough that it’s not like the review guarantees anything, and stopping the game for another long period on top of all the time outs, commercials, and free throws sucks. Just get rid of the challenge at let me go back to only being mad at the refs once per bad call instead of twice.
