Postgame Live: Nets vs Heat

Brooklyn continued its trend of playing without a full roster, taking on Miami without Ben Simmons or Cam Thomas. Once again, the reminder of depth came through as Coach Vaughn switched up some rotations and navigated early fould trouble for Cameron Johnson as well.

  1. We loss to the Heat by only 7 points. I think a healthy Cam Thomas in our rotation would've been a difference maker in our favor..

  2. We need losses to some teams sometimes. It serve as a reality check.,,, keeps us humble. We'll review the film, make corrections, and get better.

  3. One of the goals of the Nets, this season, is to be competitive….we were tonight….no need for us to hang our head. We loss to a team that's on a 6 game winning streak with a championship pedigree.

  4. Is claxton on a minutes restriction because of his ankle or something? He doesn’t get the minutes he got last year

  5. JV has to do something more than just getting Sharpe and Claxton an average of 13 combined shots in 48 minutes. This team is too guard-centric.

  6. Defense was abysmal the heat are an offensively challenged team averaging 100 points a game. We give up 122. Pathetic. Guards are more to blame than centers however we dont have a thick wing/PF to guard guys like butler. We need a star like him. Save our picks!

  7. Get younger 😂🤣😂 we are the 8th youngest team in the NBA trading DFS or Royce O'Neill going into the playoffs. I don't think that's happening unless we are getting someone that can help us might be a sign and trade in the off season. Something like that?

  8. As a Heat fan I gotta say the Nets looked very resilient. That was definitely championship level defense y’all just saw and that was definitely playoff Jimmy. That team almost swept Boston last season…. That was a pretty good measuring stick for Brooklyn.

Also, with all due to Claxton…. Bam needs his DPOY this year. Thank you.
