  1. Do people really not watch regular season games? Basketball “fans” confuse me, do people not enjoy watching their team?

I want to watch not only my team but all the other good games on every night. Strange to not watch half the season bc the games “don’t matter”.

  2. This dude sounds crazy. The games have been boring per usual. NBA has to be paying you. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢

  3. they have to add more games to the group stage 4 games and point differential isn’t enough. ucl has 6 and is going up to 8 to get teams to seperate from each other

  4. i'm loving it. As a celtics fan I was watching a 30 point blowout like it was a close game whilst checking the nets score every 30 seconds. Felt like playoffs stakes.

  5. adding 5% to lottery teams that win in season tournaments or giving playoff teams 3% lottery pick just to make it more competetive

  6. This tournament has been great. IT SUCKS to see the Magic get eliminated without playing a game but I can only blame them for losing to the Nets and Not running up the score earlier. The Points Differential thing has been great and despite all the players moan about it, when games still matter despite one team having no fear of losing that game is only a good thing as a viewer.

I actually went out of my way to watch a sloppy Nets/Raptors game from November just because it had implications. That's wild, man. I also now hate the Raptors with so much of my being after finding ways to get even sloppier in the final moments. It's November!

Also, I grew up rooting for Shaq and Dwight meaning I "sufferred" through the Hack-a-Shaq thing for decades. Doesn't bother me, shouldn't bother anyone. FT's are a part of the game and make your shots. Opposing team is spending resources to manipulate the clock and gamble that you can't do something everyone is expected to make, so you just gotta punish them for it. Drummond's been in the league long enough to not be embarrassed by it, cause if he was he'd have fixed something.

  7. I think they should keep the same in season tournament groups the same every year to build rivalries. As a magic fan I would love to get to go against the Celtics and the Nets after everything going the way it did.

  8. It’s been a great addition to the season. Last night I was rooting hard for the Nets in a game that I would usually not care about at all. Gotta say that’s a dub for the NBA

  9. The knockout round should be random draw like the champions league, so it won't necessarily end up being east vs west in the final game

  10. Instead of new Nike in-season tournament jerseys every year (mostly horrible), I wish they’d let teams wear prior city or statement jerseys. It’d be awesome to see fan favorite jerseys come back for a few games per year.

  11. The NBA has turned into a sideshow. Went to a game for the first time in years, haven't even watched a game in years due to a complete lack of interest after the NBA went woke, and it was one of the lamest experiences I've ever had at a sporting event. Just felt like I was surrounded by 20,000 imbeciles who think any of it matters or is entertaining. Everyone on the floor looks and dresses like a pussy, including the coaching staff wearing their skin tight athletic attire, florescent and pastel shoes that in no way match the WNBA looking jerseys they are wearing. My instincts that told me to stop giving a damn at least three years ago were correct. This stupid tournament is just the most ass backwards dumbest stupidest thing any professional sports league has ever implemented. I am left with zero interest whatsoever in the NBA anymore.

  12. I think giving the winning team the 31st pick could possibly be good. Gives the team something extra for the fans to root for while also not being something too good

  13. AT LEAST more people will watch the in season tournament games, I know this season if there's inseason tournament games I'm watching because ik they'll be good games

  14. Bro pacers were the first team to advance to the knockout stage, you're my guy, but details matter sometimes. Pacers had the first win & first advancement of all in-season tournament history.

  15. The only thing that has annoyed me is that Tatum complained about the magic scoring points at the end against the Celtics but when they did it, it’s perfectly fine and it’s silence from him

  16. I’ve been a football (or soccer) fan for my entire life, and I only started watching the NBA in ‘16. I’ve had ideas about something similar to a football cup tournament mid season that can be used in the NBA, but I didn’t think it can work. Props to the NBA for doing a good job.

  17. I started watching the NBA in the playoffs last season. This in season tournament is awesome, being at the crypto arena watching the lakers take down the jazz was so fun.

  18. The trio of Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller and Shaq made this game so entertaining . THE DANCER

  19. Joe and Tatum didn’t care but the front office cares so they have no choice if they opportunity is there. Watch their interviews after the game

  20. a while back i was telling my mates that the nba needs to implement another tournament like football does so teams have a chance to win another trophy and have the larry obrien trophy be the main prize. this feels like the FA cup and this has definitely added some excitement back into watching the nba

  21. Just my opinion but I don't think adding a better draft pick would be a good incentive for the IST. Imagine if you were a player, would you be willing to go out there and win the tourney just so the team could get a lottery pick which could be used to put you out of the team/rotation by drafting a young talent or use it to trade you for a better piece? I don't think thats a good reward. Instead maybe guarantee a playoff berth or add 10 wins to the regular season record plus the half a million dollars incentive for the winning team and the runner ups get 5 wins and a quarter of a million dollars.

  22. I think one other thing they should add. If you win the in season tournament. It counts as an extra win on your record. But the lose dosent count for the loser. So basically the winner will have played 83 games on paper with an extra win. It would make fans way more entertained. And the fans would have a huge reason to cheer for there team, instead of j the players.

  23. Lakers n pelicans only teams to make it going into the last night 😂😂😂 oh common Kenny 😂😂

  24. I’m a Celtics fan, I just bought tickets to the east semifinals, I really hope they make it through so I can see them live

  25. They should make the allstars east vs west again and the winner gets home court advantage in the finals

  26. to be honest the only part that I didnt like about it was that regular games were played in between the in season tournament games so it became kinda hard to follow
