We can beat anybody who matters and lose to anybody who doesn't.
If there's no rim protector on the opposing team, Toronto's got a chance.
The only thing consistent about the Raptors is their inconsistency.
Who else hears "Love Roller Coaster" in their head whenever they think about this team.
The transition to Scottie-ball has had its ups and downs but hopefully we'll see him at the helm more frequently moving forward. One guy we NEED to see more of is Otto. Playing McDaniels mins instead of OPJ is a tragedy.
I think this is going to be a season of ups and downs because we're in transition as a team right now, so it's going to be another season or two before we see any real conistency, but we'll get there as I'm liking what I've been seeing from Darko Ball up until this point.
Pascal is the worst 3pt shooter in the league of those who qualify. It's not bad, it's abysmal. He's picked up his D and is doing well in the paint tho so👍
Like I keep saying. They run hot and cold. They have to be consistent and they aren't.
Fred surprisingly is passing really well rn with Houston
toxic comment section – this team has actually been pretty darn competitive for the most part this season. I genuinely am having way more fun this season than last – lets go raps!
I love Scotty Barnes potential future but I’m tired of this 4 th quarter Scotty stuff!! He doesn’t show up for there first three quarters and the guy his a hero. Screw that. Pascal plays the whole game and keeps us in games that we win.
Does anyone Herr really think the suns are them?!
Real ones know this doesn’t mean anything
That’s why I think a Zach lavine would be a good fit for us, defence isn’t the issue it’s offence.
Pascals body language looks like he doesn’t want to be there
Dennis 12 assists ! Solid game 🎉
Well at least some people are optimistic. I'm not so hopeful. And even though they won tonight, they almost gave it away again!!! When you're up by 10 in the last few minutes of the game, and then all the sudden your defense starts to crumble and you start committing careless fouls, that is worrisome. This team is either trying to come back from a fairly large deficit, which they SOMETIMES pull off. Or they are trying desperately to hang on to a lead they have going into the last quarter, and too many times, they aren't able to hold on to that lead. Almost happened again tonight. I'm done with the hoping. It's delusional thinking.
No idea why coach plays McDaniels. Just my opinion.
The Raps are procrastinators. Similar to a bad high school student being lazy picking up Ds grades until end of the semester then start cramming and getting Bs so you end with some type of C grade. When you are in a league with the top 500 players in the world this does not work for consistency. We are not a great team like in 2019 so, if we play like that we will be 0.500 winning %
It makes sense… poor interior defense equals a win… good interior defense- we lose
My thoughts: Scottie needs to be our starting point guard… Schroeder on the bench.. Flynn out…. Get a better shooter in starting line up… get a few better bench players
As a Raps fan, of course I'm stoked over a game like this. But it doesn't change my view that we can't hang with this crew. And I'm not just using the first 19 games of this season to judge that, I'm also using last season which I think is fair given that, except for the Dennis/Fred switch, it's pretty much the same roster. This group will never generate a consistent offense. We have enough of a sample size to judge this. There is no magical corner that is going to be turned and suddenly our half court offense becomes lethal, 3s rain down like confetti and floor gets spaced. So I watch games like this and exult and hope the front office finally gets off its ass at some point.
