Luka has been getting less and less calls each game 🤔 but 👏🏻 for growth because he’s been complaining a smidge less! He would’ve been kicked out of this game last year

Something positive is that I dont think we are far away from being a contender anymore, and I know a lot of teams can just say "we are a few trades away from being good" but I really dont think any more star trades are necessary since we got this godsend that is Lively in the draft and Grant Williams seems to be a good defense general and locker room presence that we definitely lacked this spring, I just think one more decent center is gonna make a big difference for the consistency in this team, but I am not expert, maybe there is more, lets also not forget how good Derick Jones Jr have been, who knows what other good things are coming our way further down the season

lauri will play center when d live is off the court and play with him in crunch time. basically markkanen will play 34 minutes 18 as a C and 16 as a Pf wile d live will play 30 min as a C. (can we all agree that markkanen would be WAY better both rebounding wise and defensevely than BOTH holmes or powell? if you add the offence too….)
Give credit also to kyrie he was instrumental in the turn of events i wherein he scored most of his 27 points in the 4th quarter

Listen, one criticism heard before about Kidd from the media, including this podcast is that some times it seems he doesn’t care or at least not enough, so props to him for the “outburst” of emotion when they brought the question for the 1000th time. Now I don’t think Tim made it sound negatively this time, but Kidd probably still had some bad memories about how it went last season.
Nick is correct about the refs; I thought the female ref. made the most questionable calls.
You have to mention the Scott Foster out of bounds call that Kidd challenged. Foster was 5 feet away staring at the baseline and called it out. The replay only had an awkward, sideways angle and it was still CLEAR that the ball wasn't close to being out. Just awful….
that was the worst officiated game i've seen in a while. Scott Foster should not be an NBA official. SO happy mavs pulled that one out
I love how Kyrie was so pumped in that 4th quarter, even the end of the third! That was huge energy we took into the rest of the game so I loved it. Go Mavs!! 💙🏀😈
