Another option is trying to get young guys like maybe trade Drummond for Julian Strawther from Denver, tho Caruso might be needed for something like that.
Lakers might want Demar and Vuc instead of Zach or Demar and Caruso, cause AD saying he don't wanna play center.
The Bulls and the Lakers are playing a game of Chicken with Klutch Sports in the middle trying to get the two teams to agree. The Lakers want Zach LaVine and his elite shooting but they don't want to part with Austin Reaves, so what does AK do? He asks for Rui, and Austin Reaves. And, what do the Lakers do? They say they don't want Zach, they want DeMar and Caruso instead.
Two teams bluffing while Klutch reps try to get the deal done. Stay firm AK. You hold the winning hand. As a matter of fact dbl down on your stance and ask for rookie Jalen Hood Schifino and future draft picks along with Rui and Austin.
I don’t want to tank I don’t trust AKME to draft well and its possible to get the 7th pick every year and draft a bunch of wendells and denzel valentines, I’d like to go the brooklyn nets pre kd route, mid but ready to receive a star but I don’t trust AKME to do that either

WTF are y’all smoking “not a full rebuild”? This team is 5-14 (5-15 after the Buck bends the Bull over and makes him call him “papi”)
They might try to be competitive and do an “accelerated rebuild” but you can’t do a retool with a slow aging center and Demar Derozan as your center pieces. Unless you get an all star talent in return this team might gel better and improve but this season is a tanking season at this point. Maybe not a Philly “trust the process” rebuild but it 100% is a rebuild no matter which way you slice it!
But why would I trust AK to retool this team when he couldn’t BUILD the team in the first place.
