This would be a great move to solidify the bench. Fits our offense so much better than any of our other bench wings outside of Hauser

If I’ve learned anything about the way this front office operates, it’s that they move in silence and you don’t hear about a deal until it’s upon us.
I also just don’t see why Wing depth would be an area of concern with how well Hauser has been playing. I guess if he isn’t too expensive then depth is depth, but this dude Would be at best our 10th best player.

If we’re just not impressed with Brissett, Stevens, and Svi, it makes sense to have another wing flyer in the mix.

This dude once snagged 17 rebounds at 6’5″. I don’t think Svi, Stevens, and Brissett are bad bench pieces, but I do think Konchar excels more at being a complimentary role player. Rebounds and passes well, can hit from 3 at a solid rate (excluding this year which is understandable).
Can’t really see Memphis being eager to trade him though. Just these reports alone shows he has value, so it could be a battle of how many 2nd rounders a team is willing to trade.

I’d love to have Konchar, but I’m not sure how much better he is than Brisset. I do feel Brisset has struggled to fit in outside of a few hustle plays, and Stevens and Mykhailiuk haven’t gotten to show much, so maybe Brad prefers to search around for a wing who can fill some meaningful minutes.

If/When Tatum or Brown miss time, you immediately have to start Hauser and he isn’t a great starting option. The bench is also significantly weaker with him in the rotation with the starters.
We need one more person who can consistently score on the bench and Al Horford also isn’t playing in back to backs, so we need additional depth.
There is such a large drop off after Hauser and Pritchard and we don’t have a true 5. We can play Porzingis at the 5 against most teams, but against the top teams like the bucks and 76ers, you know our top competition… we need Horford in there.
We don’t need to be 10 deep for the playoffs, but getting there in a healthy way, we should be at least 9 or 10 deep now.
Kornet is playing fairly well for what he is, but we need more help than him if we’re going to rest players through the year. I think he is fine as like an 11th guy.
I would have really liked it if we could have brought in Theis, as long as he didn’t get playoff minutes.
