This has been such a blah season..

Anyone else feel like this season has been so blah?

I don’t get hyped over wins cause quite frankly, it feels like they get lucky when they win.

I sort of expect losses (texted my friend when Jokic was ruled out that we were going to lose). I don’t even really get down when they lose cause it’s such a whatever season.

Can’t string a winning streak so it’s hard to get excited.

The play on the court is ugly, non-flowing basketball.

Used to text my bro in law (we’re former season ticket holders) after all wins and losses and discuss or talk about what happened.. don’t even do that anymore.

Don’t even watch the games live, I’ll record them then watch an hour in so that I can skip commercials and halftime.

Just feels like the last season of Lob City where we know they aren’t going anywhere..

Apathy..

Lol it really seems like everyone is sick and tired of this era. Honestly it’s because the franchise is trying to sell this team is a contender when they’re not. This team isn’t fun to watch nor is there promising young talent. I think they should give them until the trade deadline to make serious headway in the standings, and if they’re still mediocre just nuke everything and recover what you can.

I’ve said it a million times already but that trade really shouldn’t have gone down. We weren’t a top contender by any means before, but I’d really consider us a 4th or 5th seeded squad that could be competitive at full strength. The harden trade just shook up the team’s continuity and now we’re asking more questions than there are solutions. It’s also turned this subreddit into a cesspool of garbage. Player hating and doomposting is at an all-time high and now it seems like you can’t criticize a player without someone in the comments telling you to go fuck yourself or you’re a moron.

The vibes were just better to start the year. I remember when everyone loved Russ, now after he’s been struggling since having to adjust to this new team it feels the exact same as the Lakers subreddit where everyone attacked him every single game for not being a floor spacer and being inefficient while not acknowledging he’s not in his ideal role for this team anymore. Do yourself a favor and don’t be afraid to take breaks from this team & fanbase, it’s a long season.
