COMMENT: Forget the Play-in Tournament, are the Rockets a straight up playoff team?
I wrote in the Clutchfans Forum at Pre Season, that this Team will be save a Play In Team and a big chance to get directly to the Play Offs. This Team got now a strong defense! You got a Team now! A real Team! JG is struggling sometimes but everyone gives something and its cooking now!

What I have notice with the Rockets defense is brilliant but really so simple. They almost never double early. They stay home on their man. What that does is allows the stars to get theirs but you don't allow the role players to beat you. Let Zion, Jokic and other stars get their numbers 1 on 1 but don't let the 3rd and 4th option kill you.
The comments were excellent. The Houston Rockets will get much better with time. It's also a team with room for improvement. Alpi is the next All Star, why not the Finals.

I've just listened to the locked on Clippers podcast following their loss to Mephis and this along with Ime's gameplan just highlights how much of a master he is. Clippers are 0-4 since th Harden trade and we have been energised by having Fred. Such a brilliant call from Ime at the point. Also getting Dillon when many fans were unsure and hearing/seeing what has happened to the Grizzlies in his absence even with getting Marcus Smart. What this highlights is that Ime knows people. I love the fact that we are a team rather than a group of individuals like the Clippers have become. I hope this continues. Having followed the Rockets since 93 it's great seeing that team chemisty like we had in the Olajuwon, Cassell, Mad Max, Horry days. Long may it continue.

So what they were missing Murray. They are still a better team than we are regardless of that fact and they know how to win when people are missing. They are champions of the league for a reason. This was an amazing win for everyone involved in Houston.
Not only are they playoff bound, but they are playing at an elite level. Let me define elite: They beat the Nuggets and the Nuggets are the best team in the league. What impresses most, is the Rockets can win with different lineups because they all play defense. Dillion and Van Fleet are playing like they’re on a mission. Udoka will be coach of the year.

It’s funny. People want to focus on injured players for the reason the Rockets are winning. Yet this is basically still the same team that has been losing the last 3 years. No this is how good Coach Udoka is.
