This is why he’ll never be a good fit next to Embiid, why does he hate shooting 3’s so much.
He’d much rather pump fake an open 3 to dribble into 3 defenders in the paint and take a fadeaway that he’ll most likely brick.
Tobias’ whole game revolves around doing the same shit that Embiid does, except he sucks at it.
Embiid has always been his best next to a wing that’s willing to shoot 3’s, the Sixers haven’t been able to find one for several years until Batum which is pathetic.
It was clear when Embiid played next to a guy like Ilyasova years ago and how the team looked much better with him than with Tobi. Ilyasova played good defense, shot his open 3’s, takes charges, rebounds, that’s all Tobi needs to do but he doesn’t do any of that shit.
It’s a travesty that Embiid has been chained down by this bum for 5 fucking years of his prime.
