Is it just me or does Kerr playing this guy drive you insane?

What does he even do? We are getting clobbered by zubaz and theis and instead of TJD we play this old midget.

  1. CoJo is ass and shouldn’t get minutes anymore. But with CP3, Wigs, and GP out, he’s going to have to get some minutes. The moment any of those 3 come back however, he should never see the court

  2. The lineups he was run with and the in-game timing of them drove me batty today and it was probably a combo of those things that made me more frustrated with his play than he maybe deserved but nonetheless, yes.

With the lead slipping in the 3rd, Kerr put out Cory Joseph, Loon, Kuminga, Podz, and Klay for the last few minutes of the 3rd and kept them out there for the first several minutes of the 4th and that’s when the game got out of hand and we lost hold of the rope. He somehow ended up in the low post repeatedly and was a non-factor or would over help and leave open a corner 3. And then offensively, the ball was just constantly sticking in that lineup, partly due to the fact that he has a tendency to over dribble the ball in place (vs moving with it) at the start of possessions trying to figure out what he wants to do and it bogs the offense down more often than not. That lineup also has shit spacing so that doesn’t help matters, and makes Klay’s job, as the most obvious offensive option in that lineup, trying to find open catch and shoots harder than it needs to be.

All in all though, he is the player he is and while I’f be lying if I said I wasn’t *thrilled* to be getting CP back, CoJo’s fit or lack thereof on the team generally or within lineups isn’t exactly his fault. It’s not like he’s not trying his hardest every time he’s out there, because he definitely is, he’s just not the player we need in the game during increasingly high leverage situations and that’s unfortunately what we got today. That’s more on Kerr (but also a product of circumstance given CP is out) than it is him.

    He’s a good defender that’s about it.

  4. PoolePartyVIP

He literally only plays because CP3 is injured

  5. touchmenot10

He’s actually really solid on defense. I agree though, that we should give some minutes to at least start to cultivate TJD

  6. granttheginger

Do people not realize his role isn’t to score? He is averaging 2 assists and 0.6 turnovers in his 10 mpg in half of the total games played, while offering good defense. Per 36 he’s a +4.3, and are we forgetting that he was a part of the unit against the Suns that led the comeback?

  7. royal-smuck

Kerr in one of his postgames said that CoJo doesn’t make mistakes. Haha lol Steve is a joke.

  8. Eventhegoodnewsisbad

Depleted roster. He gives solid effort on D and rarely turns the ball over. When cp and gp return, he will be back on the pine. He’s not the problem.

  9. Bigslime415

I swear I just told my boy if I see Cory Joseph in the game one more time ima scream🤦🏾‍♂️🙄

  10. Bigslime415

He should be the one with dnp n not our young guys smh Kerr fucking up

  11. Drakilgon

Keep in mind that those stats are inflated because he somehow has *2* banked in 3s this season. Count those as misses and he’s down to 11% from 3.

  12. This fucking sub drives me insane. All y’all do is complain.

What’s the purpose of having Joseph on the floor at the same time as Curry if he isn’t playing point?

Curry is clearly the point guard. He either brings up the ball or the offense runs through him.

In the Clippers game, they played 4 minutes and 5 seconds together. Joseph touch. The Warriors had 9 offensive opportunities.

Curry brought the ball up and took a shot 3 times without the other two even touching the ball.

Joseph touched the ball twice. The first time was a missed 3 from a pass from Podziemski. The next touch was a pass to him from Podziemski then Joseph tried to pass to Kuminga but the ball was deflected by George.

Why do people act like we need another point guard though? This dude is so ass and Kerr keeps chucking out these stupid 3-4 guard lineups. I’d much prefer TJD get a chance or Kuminga just take all his minutes

Shit, I’d even give Santos a run over Joseph

  15. grandmaster_reddit

Besides Klay’s T and dribbling the ball off his foot for a turnover, Kerr lost this game with his ass rotations, again.

  16. He uhhh plays defence. He uuuhhhhhh needs all his minutes given to TJD an- wait Kerr what are you doing in my hou- PUT THE GUN DOWN KERR PLEASE NOO NOOOO I’LL STOP I’LL STOP I’LL SUPPORT 5 GUARD LINEUPS OH GOD DONT SHOO-

  17. Consistent_Internal5

I just think of him as XL Chris Chiozza

  18. WhenItsHalfPastFive

Guy has never really impressed me, his play style was always super weird, never really appeared as an NBA player to me

  19. Saturday514

Kerr loves playing his end of career journeymen. Every.Freaken.Year.

  20. heluvsriri14

one of my least favs in fact never payed attention to him ever tbh lol

  21. gstateballer925

Kerr’s decision making recently has been suspect… he just keeps shooting himself in the foot and it’s costing us games, where we’re literally up by 20+ points. How many more times does he have to realize that this current formula isn’t working?

  22. This reminds me of my freshmen year in college. Had this dude playing ahead of me that did absolutely nothing and I almost had a mental breakdown over it. I would just work this guy every day in practice, could beat him off the bounce at will, our second unit routinely gave the starters the business. Come to find out, he played him heavy minutes because he trusted him not to make many mistakes. Well yeah, you have to try and do some things and be aggressive. Meanwhile, we had a losing record anyway and I felt I started regressing because of the mental stress and lack of communication from the coach.

Why doesn’t Kerr at least try to play Kuminga and Moody together and give Kuminga a bit of a leash? He will make more mistakes, but he will give you more of everything else as well. And I swear Kerr tries as hard as possible to make sure he has the smaller lineup on the floor at all times smh.

Bro some fucking chud drunk on the koolaid got all pissy with me a couple days ago because he said CoJo was QUOTE! “a stud backup PG”. Some folks on this sub are fucking retarded. Like the argument is “you must not have watched the game! CoJo had a huge impact!” Like what? Have you watched any other game in which he’s played?

Can’t stand this shit. And now these bum ass fans are going to question my love of the dubs like they forgot what winning basketball looks like and what it takes to have it.
