What stood out in the Mavs 30-0 run against the Thunder in a loss?
The entire Mavs team seemed to run out of gas there at the end. It was amazing watching that 30 to zip run, but then I kept thinking that they would find a way to lose it. The thing is, this team seems to live and die with Luka. He was largely responsible for the run of 30, and then he was equally responsible for the collapse. And the rest of the Mavs seems to feed off of whatever vibes that he produces.
The coach should have challenged the travel call against Luka! I don't get why JKidd didn't challenge the call.
Why did Kidd play Powell again? He always gets cooked by good teams and had -9 on the court. We would win this game if we hold that okc run at the end of the third quarter. Also another game that proved hardy is terrible running the offense. Trade him for a big wing please.
This was a shit game. They can't get down by that much and try hard after. How about we take their heart and if they beat us they beat us. We beat ourselves. We try when we down 20. Why the fuck we doing that. How about we try to blow mf out. Frustrating to watch this team. I personally think this team comes down to coaching. JKidd isn't a real coach.
Mavs may have found something more than a top center in Lively. They may have another All Star

we could've stayed top 4 in the west if we had won that game, but I'll take any 16 rebound game from Lively as a win in my mind
Luka actually played really good defense during that stretch and was winded and had nothing left in the tank the last 4 minutes and had two crucial turnovers, and two blown defensive plays. I wonder if he played real defense from the tip-off of he would last 4 quarters 🤔
It felt like the comeback happened just a bit too early. By the time we had a 4 point lead the team was gassed.
REFS SHUT THE MAVS DOWN IN CLUTCH AFTER CALLING A FALSE TRAVEL ON LUKA THEN IGNORING AN OBVIOUS TRAVEL ON OKC THAT KED TO THEM GOING BACK UP AFTER THE MAVS CAME BACK. THIS KILLED THE MAVS. THEN THE TIMEOUT AMD IT FELL APART. REFS NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE

They lost but there’s a lot of positive things in tonight’s game. Showed a lot of heart, passion, some new found confidence for DLive, Luka’s defense. Seth Curry is unlocked. Man I had goosebumps watching them climb that deficit. Win or lose I love watching this team.

Chet putbacks at the end really hurt. 1st defense was good but those second chances help decide the game.

Luka and Liv and Jones played amazing. Still would like to see Luka get to 80% from FT line. Role players played with high energy. Notice the impact on top point guards when they get doubled and tripled to get the ball out of their hand. Triple double from Luka with good energy on both ends. Gotta get another 5 and 4.
This game to me solidifies the fact that this year is not the year but thats ok. We're building towards something actually promising, with a full season and another preseason for Lively specifically but the other new guys to get accustomed to the game plan aswell, this could be most of a championship core I think. It feels like our ceiling is probably a second round exit this season.
God i feel like such an asshole, i don't care about "making history" or "showing heart". I want some fckin results. No matter how good we play i feel like we always fall short. Not to mention i'm convinced the refs hate us more than any team.
For real tho, how many build up years are we supposed to accept before expecting some results ? FFS we're not the fckin Spurs
