Yall think Ballmer gonna have a private ceremony for himself to break in the toilets
WanAjin
Is 18k seats like a magical number or what? I feel like NBA arenas always have around 18k.

All that to see Zubac

Balmer tried so hard to build a contender for that new stadium, he must be pretty pissed of how the last few years turned out.
Ramu_1798
What is a halo scoreboard
Lobster_Considerer
Wasn’t sure about this whole thing until I learned that it would have 2x the toilets of any other arena. Wow!
pln1991
Every seat is a luxury toilet
throwawayjoeyboots
It cracks me up how certain cities like Los Angeles get all these arenas/stadiums built like it’s no big deal. And then in places like Oakland it’s a 20 year grueling process.
n3sta
Did I have a dream a while back where Ballmer was really excited about toilets or did that really happen?
gratitudeisbs
Ppl clown on him for the toilets thing but as someone who actually goes to games live the long ass bathroom lines are a big problem
saturngtr81
Was at SoFi for a Rams game this past Sunday. Words can’t really do justice to how massive this thing is from the ground. It towers over Inglewood and takes up like a full 45° of the horizon.

No doubt it’ll be a fire arena, most new arenas/stadiums are. But from the arena opening they’ve got one player option year from PG and Kawhi? One year with Russ and lord knows what James will do. Gonna be an interesting time for Clips fans
Temporary-Dust-865
Is it just me or is that scoreboard set up super distracting?
heshouldgo
The seats looks pretty steep lol
qb1120
How’s the traffic going to be with the Forum and Sofi
CampinHiker
Girlfriend lives down the road. They also have a huge parking lot with a bridge to walk to the arena which will help but i also like to think Sofi/Forum/this arena traffic is gonna be ass
Numerous-Pin6168
How do people seated high in the upper deck see the halo scoreboard if the screen is on the inside?
guyfromthepicture
It would have been cheaper to just realize that you only have about half the fans of any franchise and save the money on half those toilets
b2t2x5
But will there be vendors selling dirty dogs outside like at Staples Center?
da_reddit_reader
2x Toilets of any NBA arena be a dream come true for everyone.
The empty seats you see at beginning of games/quarters/beginning of halftime is because of the bathroom situation and food stands queues.
peepxyz
How long it take to get out the parking lot?
thesmellafteritrains
10 bathrooms I could shit all day
ChevyCheeseCake
Can someone explain how the leagues richest owner needed public funds to build this and why the local give gives taxpayer dollars to this and not more worthwhile causes?
Bonesawisready5
How wild would it be if Kawhi left this summer once they open this? lol not likely but would be intense
fittedsuit2018
Remind me of that Wayne bar “I can shit all day”

The 2x the amount of toilets is smart. Balmer hired some smart architects.
Oh_G_Steve
The toilets metric is a huge plus. If you’ve never gone to a game you don’t understand how you can easily burn half of halftime waiting in line for a toilet.
FallacyFrank
These bathrooms and the Piss Club have to be the two most talked about hypothetical bathrooms in the history of the world
Mainestate
Twice the toilets, twice the drunk bathroom fights. Horrible choice. There should be no toilets
billyguy1
This halo scoreboard is the first “futuristic” thing I’ve seen in a stadium
dead-serious
i’m into it

That’s $1,200,000,000 that could have been used to build schools and health care clinics in under-served communities worldwide instead of building another basketball arena in a city that already has one.
Waste of resources.
