Overall I think the Celtics don’t care about the tournament as much as we would like them too . The effort not showed in these games is quite puzzling however if they show some intensity in the more important games this year as well as the playoffs then I’m fine with everything that happens forward .

I used to think the celtics had that "dont care until the playoffs" mentality. Until they choked and lost to the less talented heat without tyler herro. Until they give up that live by the 3 die by the 3 play style and iso ball with no off ball movement they wont win anything. Yes their offense is struggling. Because they don't have an Identity that they can go to, especially when the shots aren't falling. Which is Defense. Defense is the best Identity for this group and that was evident with Udoka. They Defended, ran out in transition and took advantage of a scrambling Defense. Which would work great especially against these Pacers. But Mazzulla got them confused, telling them to play like the Warriors. Udoka got the most out of their potential and Mazzulla is wasting it. They found something that finally worked, were 2 games from a Championship, didn't win only because Tatum wasn't ready, and they completely changed their style. Knew all last season they weren't going to win anything with what Mazzulla is telling them, and I see the same thing this season. Wake up Celtics fans. They are wasting precious Banner 18 opportunities.
Tatum and Brown's "too cool for school" attitude is really tiring to watch all these years
It's not wise to say things don't matter and be ok with losing some games on this team. They had that mentality last season after many lottery team losses and it led to a pathetic post-season. They had a no BS coach and "we want to Dominant the whole league" mentality with Udoka which had them Dominating teams like these Pacers all the way to the finals. They need to have that 'Everything Matters" mentality to be the best version of themselves. But they are far from that since Mazzulla showed up. I don't see this team winning anything without a coach like Udoka keeping them in line.
That's why I thought Orlando deserves to go through more than us
I'm less aggravated than I expected after the loss, at least the guys get a 10 day break to freshen up their legs. That said, I'm very happy Nesmith is playing well and looks like he was really enjoying himself out there. Imagine that Nesmith in Boston only getting like 8 minutes every 3rd game, yeah, that ain't happening. Sometimes you gotta let a guy play.

Jaylen brought his A game. Getting to the rim over and over, hit the 3 to keep it within reach, though he fouled for the 4 point play, it never should've gotten to that point with such a good game from him.

The Celtics don’t know how to develop players. They expect guys to jump in and be great immediately. It takes TIME to develop a player and you need to GIVE THEM MINUTES. AS IN 25+ MINUTES PER GAME.

Pacers treated this game as a big time game. The Celtics treated as just another early season game.
The bench needs help and with Al starting its weaker but thats not JBs fault Sam showed up and Kornet was there defensively but PP was trash so where is the scoring. JT can be with the 2nd unit and the results will be the same stop with the contract requirements cuz you won't have the same energy after JT signs his.

I thought we lost in the playoffs by seeing guys talking about how bad we are. We are right there until that Hali 4 point play! It’s a hard road game with a explosive offensive team! It’s never easy but losing in IST is not the end of the world. Ultimate goal is in June. That’s all that matters.

Definitely there are some issues with this loaded Celtics team. Filled with stars that don't play as team, protect ball, communicate on defense and loaded coaching staff does not make adjustments, nor efficiently rotate players in and out. or develop. Bench feels like it still is not set in stone. We got Dawgs that don't play on bench. How could the players who are on court not step up and be ready? So disappointed. They have a loaded coaching staff and stars that don't show up. This is Boston and we fans know what championship teams look like and this not it.
