A team with Westbrook, harden, PG and Kawhi is struggling, we should be allowed to struggle. Pop knows it takes years to build a team that might be a contender. Clan you said it best, some Spurs fans are spoiled. They look at the warriors or the nuggets now and dont think about all the years they sucked.
It's not even a bias that those Pop haters have. They're just impatient.
a great portion of the newer fan base is too young to remember watching them back in the 80s and 90s. as someone old enough to have watched them back then what I see now is not even remotely close to how horrendous they were back then. secondly, his politics is what gets people riled up too….to me as long as the people signing my pay checks don't mind I would absolutely not give two shits about what people think! great content and insight as always clan keep up the good work

Pop needs to coach the defense to not let victor switch on to the ball in the pick and roll. He literally gets rolled up all game trying to guard anyone with the ball. He can only play defense under the basket

I'm not a POP HATER, but that stunt he pulled the other day by telling the fans to NOT BOO KAWAI was very strange and weird. The entire point of people buying those tickets for THAT NIGHT was to come and BOO him. So should booing people during home game in the NBA now be DISALLOWED or frowned upon?

There is nothing wrong to have biases. We all have biases and who pretends to have none is wrong.
The fact that you try to fight those biases and do efforts for nuances is a really good thing, and this is the right way, as long as you stay on guard hell high.
Also, nobody can be objective. We remain subjective, in a way that we persue reality through a prism. This prism may be more or less clean or dirty, but there is still a prism between us and reality, so it remains dirty.

If coach Pop didn’t want to coach or wasn’t coaching he wouldn’t have signed another extension.im sure he is well off and could be doing something else but he loves the organization and the players.im loving the games and it is tough at times to see them lose games but I see the progress and they are competing and getting better day by day .Its GO SPURS GO all day 🤙🏽
I love Pop even though he can be an A-hole when asked questions. The Spurs fans aren't spoiled. The Spurs have been bad for the last 5 years. They are terrible now. I've watched all the games. Losing 14 games in a row is not competitive. The perimeter defense has to be the worst in the league. The perimeter guards and forwards watch the other teams shoot 3's. No one thinks Pop is a bad coach but how does the coach continue to watch bad defense. If nothing else, competitive defense can be played. No one expected the Spurs to go anywhere, but to lose 14 games in a row. The defense was bad last year without Wemby when they were trying to tank. Spurs aren't going to win until that defense steps up. Players aren't committed to playing defense. The only two players playing solid defense is Sochan and Trey Jones

People think great coaches grow on trees. You don’t just fire a great coach because you feel like it. 😂 I wanna ask these people that wanna fire Pop, who should we replace him with that’s soooo much better? Gimme a name. We just have great coaches lying around? Also, what are the expectations for the new coach? The Finals? Spurs can hire a million more coaches and wouldn’t compete for the Finals. Pop is coaching for the future. The Fire Pop crowd needs to chill out.
Pop is the greatest coach ever! If Spurs fans are hating on Pop, they should move to L.A. Pop is brilliant! He’s playing chess while others are busy with checkers.
Leading early on but losing in many games, it is a matter for which the coach should be criticized.
I love how we can all agree that the spurs are “experimenting” while tanking. Yes we would all want our spurs to win games but young high potential teams take a couple of seasons to be contenders.

That is just a basic drill. Tim Duncan is a lot better on this situation when developing big man like what he did with LA. You forgot that the spurs are on its 5th losing season and you still here saying they are still developing? Some of those players that you "developed' are now with other teams. No all-stars are not even interested playing under pop irl. They are saying that about pop due to his 'achievement' while tim duncan was still playing. Keep of the process of losing under Popovich.
