So Black gets no playing time after he is pulled in 3rd. Yet Harris is allowed to brick everything and get those minutes down the stretch. Guard rotation a joke without Suggs now

  2. That’s two terrible losses in a row. That was pathetic preparation for a garbage team in Cleveland

  3. MassiveThroat942

2-23 from 3. Missed 10 free throws. And couldn’t box out

  4. 3pt shooting and rebounding. Aside from that, thought we played pretty well. Suggs was clearly limping after checking back in, not sure why he was allowed back in, especially with being down 20. Grand scheme of things it’s 1 game, but it’s the same thing that happened in Brooklyn. Get right game coming up against Detroit.

  5. Comfortable-Tale845

Awful loss, the refs were not trying to hide they wanted us to win but we still came up short

  6. jbiorci00

Honestly Franz needs to be better. We win that game if he’s bad instead of awful.

Gary had an off night but at the end of the day he’s a role player and him having an off night shouldn’t mean we lose the game.

Can’t believe we nearly won that shooting 2/23 from 3, I honestly think that’s actually a positive. We’re not gonna have too many games where we shoot that badly across the whole season.

  7. ffootballer21

The FO knew we needed shooting in the offseason and chose not to address it. It’s not gonna get any better when Fultz gets back

  8. If i see Gary Harris out there smiling during the game one more time while he play that shit, i’m going to lose it!
As soon as Suggs went down, this guy was going to get minutes.
He been nothing short of disgraceful out there tonight.
His teammates working there backsides off to stay in the game and get him open looks and he’s made himself look a fool.
His D was terrible, gettin cut all the time, yet he out there smilin!

I don’t normally get fired up over a performance but tonight, Gary has got under my skin.

We need to move him, Houstan, maybe Fultz and get Buddy into this line up…

  9. Cthulhus-Tailor

The Magic are getting very good at making middling teams look like titans.

  10. KamikazeeDolphin

Ehh, we’ll get em in Orlando. Let that trash ass city celebrate this W.

Imagine living in Ohio. Fuck the Browns, Cavs, and the Guardians. (I show no respect Cleveland sports.)

  11. NikThaGreat9

Slow start dooms us again. I’d say we were the better team for 3 quarters, but when you play like the Pistons in the 1st quarter it doesn’t even matter.

  12. Niceshotpiccolo

Gonna throw this one in the dumpster and forget about it. Paolo with 40+ tho at least there is that

  13. Really awful showing from Gary Harris and the Wagner bros. A few easy shots from them in the 4th could’ve swung this game in our favor.

  14. Jaydillah

Shitty 1st quarter killed us. Our complete lack of 3point threats and front offices refusal to adapt to modern NBA is pathetic.
    Great game by P5.

  15. Jkolinski32

That was a win if we play even halfway decent. Won quarters 2,3, and 4. Cavs had 14 3s to our 2. Left 10 points at the line. Paolo goes off but has no help. And yet we still managed to hang in there. Tough loss, I think an average game from us would’ve been a 10 point win.

  16. The magic were heavily injured and it didn’t help losing suggs so early no ji and the obvious Fultz and WCJ but this game was still extremely winnable. The most disappointing part is how bad the magic shot iq was franz kept running head on into one of the best defensive players in the league killing all momentum consistently. Cole and a number of other players kept taking early shot clock 3’s that weren’t open just to get themselves going. Paolo did everything possible and they still lost. Handle business against the pistons and move forward

  17. banchero98

When we will get fucking real shooters like every other teams in the league. Cavaliers start with Strus and Niang come from bench. Maybe Paolo is the best shooter in our roster.

  18. Couldn’t hit the big shots. Missed Suggs and JI tonight, can’t wait til we’re healthy. Hopefully we can go .500 this month as we play a lot of solid teams.

  19. JackCullenMocha

Two threes made, 10 Fts missed, got outrebounded by 9 rbs. The fact that we only lost by 10 is a goddamn miracle

  20. Comfortable-Tale845

Start a rebuild already. The refs were rigging it for us the whole game, but we still lost

  21. Shooting is contagious and when you aren’t a good shooting team to start with that shit spreads like covid. We all know we need a volume shooter, since we are 1 of like like 3-4 teams who don’t have one, so I’ll just not bring that up since it is played out at this point.

If Franz plays just bad instead of complete ass then we might win, if we have just Fultz out instead of Fultz, WCJ, JI and Suggs then we might win. Despite how bad the shooting was the game was winnable due to the play style this team plays with, so that is positive. I said in the game thread, if they shot 7/22 instead of 2/22, so 31% which is under their average, then we win this game.

  22. Sure as hell hope P5 and Cole give it to Gary in the locker rooms.
These young guys giving it their all out on the floor while Gary smilin.

Gary needs to go, role player or not, he’s used to a losing culture and it shows with the carefree attitude on court.

We don’t want that shit anymore.

And Jingles can follow him, he’s been good but 20 games in and he’s cooked.

  23. Hard to comeback when you’re down 15-20 pts in the first q

  24. dingleboss

    42 FOR PAOLO!

Too bad almost everyone else played like garbage. Abysmal shooting aside, I think we could’ve won this with Fultz/Carter/Isaac/Suggs healthy. Credit to Bitaze and Black (who showed some excellent moves in the first half) for holding down so far this season, but you can start to see the cracks showing. No reason to panic yet though, 14-7 is incredible compared to this time last year and we’re technically still in “development mode” (5th youngest team in the NBA currently).

  25. chonkersmod221

Lol idk what yall are on about. Stop bitching. Of course we didnt play well but its an 82 game season and you are gonna look like shit sometimes. 14-7(!!) on to the next

  26. Mitchell and Garland are unguardable. Their speed and ballhandling is ridiculous. Suggs was our only chance at slowing them down, without him we were screwed. What a game from Paolo, he was cooking. Terrible shooting night by everyone else though. 2 for 23 from 3 is insanely bad. Franz was 0 for 5, Gary was 0 for 4, I’m not too concerned yet, these are guys who have proven they can shoot, they’re just in a slump.

  27. orlandomade

To state the obvious, we need shooting. But honestly it has to come from our players. Cole, Gary and Joe need to be better shooting wise. As much as we’d like to trade for a shooter they aren’t out there for the taking. It has to come from our guys

  28. carendt242

Wagner plays better and that’s the 10pt difference; and Suggs & JI on defense, take away a few of their points, and we probably win this one. with JI defense, we win last one too. if you’d given me a choice of 14-7 or however it may fall at the beginning of the year, i’d take 14-7 all day.
