The ending between the Lakers and Suns not only decided who got to the semifinals of the NBA’s In Season Tournament, but also exposed some serious misconceptions about the rules that Coach Nick had to iron out.

Darvin Ham is slow to react in this situation this is the second time Bron save the Lakers by calling a TO remember that other game also against the Suns Beal almost had a steal on AD but Bron quickly called TO to save the possesion
In 2016, Lebron avoided a goaltend by blocking a shot a millisecond away from hitting the backboard during the 2016 Finals
In 2023, Lebron avoided a turnover by calling a timeout a millisecond before it goes off his teammates hands during the In-Season tournament.
Lebron should have the LeTime nickname, not Damian Lillard.
50/50 call
Is there a travel in the Reaves Time out thing ?
its always different call when lebron is asking.
This mam credited Lebron on this play….
Lebron is a God of basketball admit it
FIRST OR ALL: The rookie minimum salary has been set at $953,000 per year. These Teams do not care about sharing 100k. It is bs insentive to make normal hard working people feel as though this sht is important.
Lebron is fuckinv smart 😂😂 that's why he's the best on the court
Got cheated smh
3:14 I beg to disagree. You underestimate these athletes and their abilities. He sees LBJ's intent with the pass and knows the man is open, he spots the ball with peripherals leaving LBJ's hand, his gait unnaturally delays moving his right leg forward and kicks up his heal higher so as intentionally stay in the path of the ball. LBJ noticed this unnatural movement as he had the best view and is why he was hysterical.
This narrative needs to stop. This call was the correct call, and on top of that, there were 3 Lakers no calls in the last two minutes. One on cam, one on lebron, and one on lebron. The call was proper, and when it was challenged, it was the proper call. This stolen game narrative is really annoying and does more to prove the suns mindset than anything. They'd rather blame this game on the fact that this call was made rather than the 20 turn overs.
Lakers played good defense most of the game, out rebounded the suns and only won by 3, instead of explaining that, everyone is stuck on a loose ball call. Are we here for basketball or referee analysis
THE nba should adapt to The fiba rules for shure
games done, over, move on next game
Exploit is a good term for the Timeout Call. As even a normie felt a huge let down with the whistle stopping the entertainment, which usually means the whistle was done incorrectly.
Really good explanation
Not you on the gambling too😭😭😭😭
Is juggling the ball between your hand and thigh really control? Feels wrong still, but I get it, it's a hard call to make in the moment
"Chase lounge" wtf Americans
Live ball timeouts are insanely silly
Didnt even show LeBrons masterclass of a 4th quarter smh…Instead focuses on controversy. What happened to the integrity of the game of basketball?
It was the correct call
part of the game.. KD tapped the ball in vs the rockets. 2017 wcf
The refs making a mistake is not exploiting rules dummy
What I don't understand is why this situation could not be reviewed? Specially at this point of the game. Is there any rule that does not allow to do it?
What difference does it make. Even if there was no call ball rolled off bookers foot out of bounds no way Allen was grabbing that. You doing all these gymnastics and even admitted reaves got fouled for that split second.
Bs man it was 2 late plain and simple y’all be laker fans 🤦🏽♂️
Nick with the jokes AND the bars
You failed to mention book fouls Reeves before he loses the ball gtfo
LeRigged ChynaJams
RIGGED
Yes the timeout was okay, as we see he still had control of the ball. Even if the ref may not have seen it correctly he probably made the adjustment you just mentioned and made a judgement call because he probably was also not 100% sure if there was a foul, so it was a bailout for him to not having to make a call wether or not Reaves was fouled. Since these are usually way more controversial than just going into timeout.
Laker hater strikes again
Did Lebron really smoke an imaginary joint in this game?
I predict less injuries in the NBA this year because of the play in
its the lakers guys no big deal 😂
Don’t you need to have control AND holding the ball at the same time by the same player to call a timeout?
Ridiculous rule. Only coaches or players HOLDING THE BALL should be able to call time out. And NBA again justifying their mistakes.
There is no way at competitive live speed a team should be awarded a timeout for that.
Any team.
That rule needs so retooling.
That game was disgusting. i'm disgusted in the league and the commissioner
Worst highlight ive ever seen.
Darvin ham was clueless during the whole exchange
Cry more 😢 😭
Just a heads up coach. the game against the rockets, the ref called a kick ball on us in the same situation as the first non kick ball call on booker. That is why some of us are questioning the non call. not consistent.
Never thought an NBA game in December would be this intense nor interesting. Honestly giving playoff vibes even down to the controversy. Adam silver might’ve just won with in season tournament being a thing
