Geiger was a bucket in the mid range área, solid, he was injured that year I think came out of the bench to try and guard shaq 😂 shaq bullied him barbecue chicken all day but on offense he was solid
Truthfully I liked that team b4 the trade, if we kept Theo I think we would've had that miracle energy in the finals. Theo was throwing shit "Theo throw shit!"
Coach of the year, MVP, Defensive player of the year & Sixth-Man of the year… all on the same team. Only time in NBA history. How do you not mention this..
George Lynch was a solid defender and hustle player. Very similar to PJ Tucker now.
I don't remember if Ratliff injury was a season ender. But they traded Kukoc and injured Ratliff for Mutombo at the deadline. It might not have made a difference but they were significantly better pre-trade.
im philly born and raised. love all my Philly teams. This is my fav Philly team of my life. that season and that summer was so wild in Philly. State Property and Beanie Sigel were killing. Major Figgaz had the city on lock. Eagles got good with Mcnabb and Andy Reid. Flyers made the eastern conference finals. Jimmy Rollins was starting to get the Phillies back on the map. i was 20/21 years old. what a time!
Man people better do there research on this team George Lynch was a dog and Aaron Mckie was the 6th man of the yeah in “01… one of the toughest teams ever and everyone knew there role and played it perfectly we just ran into an all time great team
The modern advanced stats fans will never understand how amazing this run was. I’ve seen so many kids of today saying this run is overrated and AI was just a shot chucker who played 45mins a game. The ignorance is unacceptable. This run was one in a million and Philly hasn’t even smelled the conference finals since.
I feel people underrated this team due to lack of big names. They were a fantastic defensive team and Iverson carried the offense. Similar to the 2007 Cavs.
Of course, because they didn’t have that 2nd scoring option, they couldn’t win the championship.

Matt "Counter" Geiger
Ratliff was traded for Mutombo after he was injured

weak ass east
Yall do know this team had the 6th man of the year, defensive player of the year and coach of the year right?? Basically every award went to this team
Ratliff, Sanchez and Toni Kukoc was part of the Mutombo trade so they weren't in the 2001 roster.
Man I remember cheering for ever team AI played against that playoffs lol
Dude had me miserable all first half of my summer break
Bring Any of them bozos to your local gym or league u bet they drop 60 them dudes are not bums just not superstars.Yall got shit twisted
If the coldest player
NBA fixed it lmao it should be bucks
Mutombo looking like a navy seal with the knee pads
Ya but then they run into the great Laker wall

I watched every game that season and went to 5 playoffs games. Their defense was stifling. AI was electric. The crowd was insane. The good ole days.
The whole eastern conference was trash
Imagine looking like this mope and making fun if somebody else looks
Loved Tyrone Hill.
Theo Ratliff was traded for Mutombo he wasn’t on the team that went to the finals.
He got all the way there while being cheated out and plotted on by the referees
He beat down my BUCKS, and they would have beaten the Lakers facts.
Na hollup Jumaine was always an instant spark off the bench
The practice rant didn't happen during this run.

Yioo…Matt Geiger was decent. He was like a " poor man" version of Pau Gasol!
01’ Sixers was nothin to be played with. Lakers did overcome and take it from us.. But, we will never have a team like that again.
Facts Bro. Let them know
Ai with this group of bozos….wow, you got some nerve…
I remember in that Finals Lynch was injured and the media was acting like if he came back from injury it could turn the tide.

Didn't Aaron Mackie win 6th man of the year that season?
Practice??? We Talkin Bout Practice!! I saw that conference….😂😂😂😂
Mount Mutombo!!
Theo actually traded for Mutombo
Miss these old school vids
Dont think anyone got that game reference in the beginning 😂
So what you're telling me is that the East after MJ left was garbo. Gotcha.
Bro they traded Theo Ratliff for Dekembe Mutumbo. We love your content but damn, get some facts
The Sixers never gave Iverson the #2 he needed to win. Regardless, Iverson carried the team every single year.
I feel people underrated this team due to lack of big names. They were a fantastic defensive team and Iverson carried the offense. Similar to the 2007 Cavs.

That East was weak as hell. People hype it up to give their favorite players unnecessary glaze☠️☠️
Come on Pepe Sanchez was cool
Yea ai was 🐐 the man it was him vs the world
