[Jason Dumas] Steph was asked if it was time to change up the offense — sounds like he believes the offense and the lineups need more continuity with its personnel before making drastic changes.

“Every team wants to be at full strength for a certain period of time so that you can get ALL the looks out there and figure out what works, what doesn’t work, what lineups work together.”
On the topic of learning lessons from games (he went into this topic unprompted): “Just making sure we take stock of where games start to get out of hand or our offensive flow starts to get a little junky because we’re starting to do a certain look over and over again (earlier he referenced going to the pick and roll too much towards the end of the Clippers game) and figure out a way to put ourselves in a position where we have a type of playbook come the stretch run that we can rely on.”

I mean I kinda agree. The starters have barely played together due to the constant stream of injuries. It’s hard to win consistently with fluctuating availability. I would say Steph knows this team better than anyone of us, and I trust his judgement.

How do people who wish to trade or move Klay feel about this? Your best player doesn’t want to give up so soon? So what do you think now? Or is he stupid like Kerr too?

It’s very fair. But also it’s frustrating to watch low energy lineups that feel like their swimming upstream.

Fair but we also gotta win some games. We barely in the playins rn

Replace Wiggins or klay with either kuminga or moody based on matchup. I like their energy that the other two starters lack.
Or even start green at 5, take out looney if the other team is fast and not as big, and slide in moody or jk to the 2-4. And see how that works.
Feel like our worst line ups now are with Wiggins and klay, can’t have both on floor. Klay is ball hogging but he can get it one in every five games and he makes space for curry cause he can get hot. Wiggins on the other hand is ok on defense and at times aggressive on the board but his iso mid range has been absolutely dreadful to the flow of offense. Defenses just leaves him wide open.
The only two players who have the right to start if healthy is Steph and green. And I love Wiggins and klay. But it’s not rocket science that they have been horrible

Trusting players’ personnel decisions is never the move lmao. Remember when Draymond had input on draft picks? Jacob Evans …l o l

Most notable parts to me:
