@New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans have repeatedly stressed to Zion Williamson that his ‘diet and conditioning’ need to improve, per @cclark_13. But Zion reportedly still ‘doesn’t listen.’ 😳

    The biggest no duh ever if you follow him around the court.

    Does this not scream that he needs to be traded? that him and the Pels (whether that’s the team or the FO) are just at an impasse with him and it’s been five years, if he’s still not bought in and at least trying to maintain his weight why cater to him anymore

    Pelicans fans, if you knew that you’d get Zion’s fluctuating weight for the rest of his career (let’s say half a season at a good weight and the other half overweight), would you have traded him for the #2 or #3 overall pick this past Summer?

  4. God damn shame the entire world needs to pile on this lazy ass mf to *HOPEFULLY* get him to act like a grown ass man and take care of his business.

    This shit is pathetic

    We’ve known this for years. I was downvoted every time I said this.

    I don’t understand why they don’t just send him to the bench. There needs to be accountability and a message needs to be sent. We are a soft organization and it’s no wonder why he doesn’t care year after year because we let him get away with everything.

    40 point loss and all the negative leaks come out, the same FO also said he had his most serious summer, etc. Hopefully this team wins Monday cause it is ugly right now lol

    Man how the vibes changed after 1 game. Its as easy as 1 game to start a narrative in this league. Bro gonna drop 38 7 4 next game and all this talk gonna fly away. All of a sudden bro gonna be at the best shape of his life.

    This sub is so reactionary. Did Zion have a bad game? Yes. Does he need to fix his diet? Yes.

    But on the other hand. Has he had a solid season thus far? Yes. Has this team been playing well with him recently? Yes. Has his and Ingrams chemistry improved? Yes.

    We had one bad game. Sure, it was a REALLY bad game. But it’s not the end of the world. And it doesn’t mean we should be slandering Zion like this. I think it’s more than fair to criticize Zion about his conditioning, but calling for him to be traded is just blasphemy. Jesus Christ this sub changes their opinion about Zion and this team after every game it feels like.

    I finally ordered a Z jersey this week on sale so I fully expect this to have been my fault. I’ll take the blame homies.

    These are not headlines you read about well-run franchises

    Zion’s biggest problem is he’s mentally weak. If someone could ever get him to switch his mentality, he would be the most dominant player in the league. Instead we get this…

  13. Man I was really hoping to go about my day today and forget about the game then I see fucking bleacher report made this post about zions weight 😂
