The OKC Thunder Rebuild Is (Somehow) Just Beginning..

Okay, maybe COMPLETED isn’t the right word. Only because they have the greatest stockpile of draft picks the league has ever seen still at their disposal.

But they’re the 2nd seed in the West and 2nd in the league in Net Rating, so we get to call it complete lol.

  1. As a OKC fan currently loving our roster and im glad chet is backšŸ’Æ we are good but i want to see what everyone can do in the next few years before we pull the trigger on getting another star. But i can say i definitely miss russ, pg, n cp3! On to better things now the future is bright for us

  2. hardwood, you are still so underrated. the first time i saw one of your videos i thought you had <50k subs. ur production quality is A1. KEEP GOING!

  3. Imagine if the okc kept sengun, didnā€™t trade up for poku, and didnā€™t trade for tre Mann. Theyā€™d be much better

  4. The Thunder need to flip some of those picks for an established player. Bertans contract will help match salaries. Some of these pick swaps to move up in the draft haven't helped them that much. If they plan on doing it all through the draft, they're going to need to get lucky. The draft is a complete gamble. Guys that can be amazing in college can be much less effective in the NBA. Once these young players start coming off of their rookie deals this team is either going to lock in on them, or have to let them walk and keep replenishing with draft picks. I think that this team could be a championship contender today if they went out and made something happen. Nothing crazy, but something reasonable. They missed out on Porzingas. That would have been a great pairing with Chet and the price on Porzingas wasn't high. Marcus Smart and Robert Williams were available. Both of those guys went cheap and would have been great fits for this team. Imagine Chet at the 4 with Williams at the 5 and Bertans contract would have matched straight up with Williams. Portland is rebuilding. They could have got Williams for a late first rounder. I know that he got hurt, but the Thunder should have swooped on him before that even happened. I'm glad that this team is being patient, and not chasing after guys like Zach Levine with a bad contract and a team that's going to want 4 or more first rounders. But they need to do something soon.

  5. Iā€™m still amazed they have yet to mess up with any of those picks from all the trades. Pftt with all the pics they got there set till 2030 they boutta run the next 5 years and Iā€™m not even an okc fan and Iā€™m excited

  6. I don't understand this "superstar" talk?! Do the Thunder really need to gamble with chemistry to bring another talent in? Do they not already have enough (potential) superstars on their roster? Love the video, but I think we should save the superstar solutions for the likes of the Lakers, 76ers, and Clippers, etc. This team will be just fine, and I trust that Presti sees this.

  7. Iā€™d say the scariest part is Josh has been playing his worst ball ever and this is what we look like. When heā€™s over the yips, what then?
