This video is one of the many example as to why I think Giannis doesn’t fully trust Lillard yet. In the video, Dame tells Giannis “You and me” and Giannis doesn’t even seem to acknowledge him.
There’s also some proof during game time. Giannis seems more comfortable setting actual picks with Cam Payne than Dame. When Giannis sets a pick for Dame, he tends to just pop back on the perimeter and call for the ball. Or when Dame runs a horns set (2 screeners on both sides), Giannis is barely used as a screener. It’s mostly Brook & Portis, and whenever Giannis is on the court for horns he’s spotting up on the perimeter.
Does anyone else think that there’s a lack of trust between Giannis & Dame?

So you think he trusts Beasley more than dame? lol
The bigger problem here is Beasley taking that shot and not swinging it to Dame. Also Giannis should’ve feasted in the clutch, don’t know why he barely took any shots and kept passing it to Beasley. He was killing Indiana all game.
