And some of you defended the in season tournament, when it gave us 2 extra games against the 2 best teams and our best player getting injured. Adam Silver is a moron

  2. AkirraKrylon

Thibs gets a lot out of his players, but his stubbornness and set-in-stone rotations put a ceiling on this team.

  3. decaf_metcalf_14

Why the FUCK is Brunson in the game in garbage time

  4. teknomatic

How many shitty 3rd quarters are gunna cost us games before Thibs realizes there’s something he’s not doing right?

Also his defense straight up does not work against teams that have stretch 5s

  5. hyborians

Brunson injured in garbage time. Hopefully not serious.

  6. Better than the bucks game but we really need to figure out what to do when so many guys are getting frustrated with their role on offense.

Our defense has fallen off a cliff last two games.

Gonna be a long cold December. Hopefully we hover around 500 before the new year.

  7. slyguy183

Good game. Hope Brunson is alright, at least we’re off until Monday. That’s why you take out your starters when there’s no chance of winning the game.

Need Brunson to find his 3 pointer if we’re gonna beat these good teams

  8. smileyfrown

The Knicks are undersized and a bad matchup vs the Celtics and Bucks … that’s you’re competition and that’s on the FO

The last 2 games had some seriously questionable rotations and that’s on the coach

I have plenty of confidence this team can and will beat most teams in the league. I have no clue if that’s enough to get over our issues agains these top teams

    Tough situation

  9. zOmgFishes

IHart plays better against these teams than Mitch who refuses to close out at the 3P line for some reason.

Also a solid game from RJ. Grimes, IQ and Hart were decent as well.

  10. We’re looking at another 5~6 seed season, second round bounce at best.

  11. Until we can beat Boston or Milwaukee or Miami consistently, we aren’t going anywhere. All of those teams besides maybe Miami aren’t going away anytime soon, so they better figure something out. Hope JB and Mitch are okay.

  12. DabZonTwitch

Some adjustments need to be made on the defensive end (especially the perimeter) for sure, offense is not a problem but this team is trading buckets far too often now instead of playing to their strengths.

Get back to the core identity, and then keep scoring at this clip and it will be a whole different experience. Especially if one or more key guys a night doesn’t have to be cold to make that happen

  13. GoldenBoyRecords

At some point we gotta throw different defensive looks in game when someone gets hot . KP kills us in every matchup and we defend him the same way

  14. ShMp11Nesis

Thibs rotations and his ISO heavy basketball style will always be the downfall of his coaching. Not knowing how to adjust is down right devastating as a coach. I appreciate him for instilling culture and making us respectable. But there’s better ways to play ball than this. Benching RJ for hart when RJ was perfectly fine tonight??? Like what

It feels like size is gonna be a big problem for us too and the front office double downed on small guards all around for some reason? When this is a tall wing league. Idk man.

  15. The defense by our starting line-up has been garbage. The excuse of the Bucks and Celts “just being better” is hand-waving bullshit to cover up our bad coaching and lack of hustle on D by the starting unit.

  16. Soup_Commie

You know, some part of me thinks that it’s a blessing in disguise that our already difficult schedule has proven to be extra brutal. Like, barring a miracle, we never had a shot at a ring this year anyway. Might be good in the long run to have our big flaws repeatedly exposed against the teams we need to figure out how to beat.

  17. JohnnyfromNY

These Muthafuckas better start playing some defense. Wtf was this shit the last two games?

  18. HeyKim0oOo

We’re only a quarter of the way through the season and we have one of the toughest schedules in the entire NBA. There’s plenty of time for adjustments to be made before ASB and we move into the second half. The NBA is a streaky league and even though we’re in a slump right now, I trust they can bring it back.

  19. Wild_Particular4003

Allen telling it how it is. December gonna be a tough month

  20. Affectionate-Tea9224

After the next 2 games 9 straight vs winning teams..fact is if they keep playing this type of defense, the playoffs won’t even be in view

  21. i_am_the_senate_

We should’ve signed porzingis for the sole reason of keeping him from the Celtics. He takes their offense to another level

  22. Affectionate-Tea9224

IQ team high +15, Grimes +12 in a game knicks lost by 10..

  23. NoScopeMusical

    – Another shit loss because of a shit third quarter. Half time is 15 minutes. Does anything get done in that time? It’d be great if it did!
    – Keeping it close for the first half and coming out flat in the second, ain’t it.
    – RJ was far and away the best player on the team. Naturally, Thibs does the smart thing and plays him sparingly for the rest of the game. Brilliant
    – Tatum & White beat us. Of course, no adjustments were made.
    – Oh look, another star player getting injured in garbage time! Last time, it was RJ. This time, it’s Brunson. Come the fuck on, Thibs

  24. will122589

Tough to win road games where the home teams are a combined 17-1.

Wish they looked better in these two games though on defense. At least this happened in December and not April.

Hopefully they Obliterate the Raptors at home Monday to steady the ship
