This was Gobert’s second consecutive game with 20 rebounds and the third of the year. Jaren Jackson led the Grizzlies with 21 points as Desmond Bane added 16 points. The Grizzlies move to 6-15.

I picked Memphis to win this game because I had a gut feeling that they would win it. But they lost and I am not mad about it since I’m not a Memphis fan and I can’t be mad either when things never work out. But look. As long as Minnesota can play consistently throughout the whole entire season including the playoffs with a great aggressive rhythm like Denver did last year, Minnesota will go to the finals. The west is a real competition this year due to more key players and better market teams. The east have been nothing since after Milwaukee won their last ring.
