  1. >Simon Rice is the Sixers’ VP of Athlete Care, for those who don’t know.

Alright it’s f5 season for me tomorrow on, but I’m remaining optimistic. A few weeks off with the teams we play upcoming wouldn’t be the worst honestly. I think even the Embiidless sixers should beat Detriot a few times

The way Nick was talking was a little concerning tbh

I’d be more shocked if he isn’t in discomfort as a 7’ 2” monster on both ends of the court tbh. Either rest him against these shit teams coming up or give him fewer minutes. Our squad with no Joel or less of him should be able to run the table against these teams coming up.

Honestly he was still able to walk and jump off of it so I’m not extremely concerned

I really don’t think it’s that bad. Usually, if it were that serious it would be MRI tomorrow morning. The fact that he said they’ll evaluate over the next few days sounds precautionary to me. Also, Nurse has everything to gain from playing up his injury. With the new anti-load management rules, helps to have a semi-real injury concern to lean on. We milked that hip injury for a while, and he eventually got a game off when he needed it for… hip soreness.

We’ll all collectively shit our pants until we find out, but there are real reasons for hope.

  8. Holy shit, we have some more god awful Nurse rotations coming at us aren’t we. Morris Sr at center for extended minutes, LFG!!

If there’s a stretch of the season to give the man rest, it is right now.

maybe its not serious but it’s getting to the point where its a weekly occurence he is collapsing and holding his knee in a game, even though he keeps playing. I admire the toughness but them knees worry me

I’m not worried you bozos. He’s going to be fine.

We just need to wait until we see what Simon says.
