Luka is a net negative player. Whenthe other team has the ball, mavs playing 4 on 5. he brings lots of empty stats to the table but as long as he doesnât improve dramatically on the defensive end of the floor, he will be a burden to any team

I think Luka and Kyrie will win it all together before Kyrie's contract expires. If the new ownership doesn't mess things up, then I think Luka will remain a Maverick for his whole career, just like Dirk. I think him seeing up close what it was like for Dirk when he retired, how fans and people in the league give extra respect to the guys who gut it out and stay with one team for their whole career, when you win a championship with the team that drafted you…. Dirk only won a single championship, but there's no other player who only won once that even comes close to Dirk's legacy. I'm so glad that Dirk and Luka are real friends who actually pal around together outside of basketball related events. If Luka really takes Dirk and Kidd's advice to heart, then he will truly have a shot at being in the real GOAT conversation with MJ.

The most under-rated part of Luka's game is he could dunk and hang on the rim like Leflop 4-6 times a game easy but chooses not to b/c he doesnt need the media highlights and he knows its a waste of energy. He has schooled the NBA with this and the league hates that he refuses dunk for their highlight reel. Even the legends wont speak about this b/c theyve spent so much time praising those that do seek those highlights like Leflop.

The fact that people talk like 6 championships is the only argument to define someone is better than others seems weird tbh. After all, 6 championships cant be won by a single player but by the group of players.
