  1. The Boston Celtics have a ton of weapons though. Drew Holliday still got it. It’s just hard to pop off when you have so many star players in your starting lineup.

  2. Fact that our 5th best player is better than half the teams in the league 3rd best player is scary . Just get to playoffs healthy

  3. Whites most obvious area of impact is on the defensive end. He’s always swarming his man and his ability to recover is off the charts. But an underrated part of his game is how he makes big play after big play. I’ve watched a good amount of Celtics games this year and in almost all of those games he’s either hit a three to stop the other teams momentum in a crucial part of the game or made a huge hustle play which gets the crowd into the game.

  4. Jrue is just trying to figure out the right amount of passing and shooting. It’s hard when your teammates can all drop 30 on any night lol

  5. I think what makes Derrick White so special is that he can make an impact wherever the team needs him to make an impact. He can lock down on defense if it's needed, but he can also give you 30 points if it's needed.

  6. They stink on the road. For all the talent they have they shouldn't be just struggling to stay above .500 on the road. Better hope they figure it out before the playoffs roll around

  7. tatum and brown never learn, they think some improvements will be enough forgetting other players are also developing on the same pace, they have to improve in LEAPS AND BOUNDS, their lost to pacer was a clear display of this. they needed to show there money's worth specially when ur support group is non existence.

  8. Derrick whites biggest impact is his unselfishness. Tatum brown and KP have to take a lot of shots. Derrick white when needed can have games like this but the reason this team works is because he only cares about winning. He sacrifices!

  9. What make Derrick white so good is that he is able to take a back seat to the two stars but also is able to step up in a crucial game if needed. If Tatum and Jaylen brown play he can stick to his 3&D type role but if one of them is out he gets to handle the ball more and he will get you 25 plus points. That’s so special since everyone looks to defend the two stars often.

  10. There will be questions until they win 16 games in the playoffs.
The season is a formality at this point. They need to hit the playoffs hot and healthy.
Anything else is going to leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouths.

  11. The most underrated and low key valuable part of White's game is that if he'a back on defense during a fast break, he never gives up easy points. I've seen so many runout fast breaks for the other team where White contests the shot into a miss, blocks it, or swipes the ball out of the offensive player's hand who then knees it out of bounds. His transition defense is elite and it's so valuable because that's the highest quality offense in the game. Other standout parts are his disciplined defense, offensive flexibility, low usage to value ratio, poise, and team-first mentality.

  12. Derrick whites best contribution is the ability to recognize and give the game what it needs without any superstar "me first" mentality.

He almost always makes the right reads on offense. Doesnt demand shots but when you need buckets he can give you 30. He executes lob passes well and gets off the ball in 0.5s. He gives 100 on defense. Excellent at navigating screens. Elite transition defense. Plays the passing lanes. Is top 3 shotblocking guard in the nba. Makes the right read on defense (never gambles).

Basically if you ever needed someone who epitomizes Pop's Spursian basketball in the modern era: its d.white.

Best part about it: he wont cause drama and would give you all-star/all-def numbers without demanding a max contract.

  13. This team is almost complete to win a championship. Any starter could win finals MVP or br the reason we lose. Both of the Js need to level up there IQ.
