We depleted the roster on purpose to tank. We have to build it back. That's the point of all the picks. We have a foundational piece and some growing role players.
That's funny I always say the same thing about the Cowboys. I WATCH them but can't call myself a fan like I am of the Spurs

I fear that Victor Wembanyama will eventually tire of losing and demand a trade if the Spurs continue to be uncompetitive and lose much longer.
I wonder why the Spurs don't add Sandro Mamukelashvili to the rotation.
I think what the spurs could do in order to get some wins right now could be: First Starting Charles Bassey In The Power Forward Position And Let Him Play Alongside Wemby. Secondly Benching Keldon Johnson And Give him A Huge Rôle off The Bench. Let Jeremy Sochan Play In The Small Forward Position Where He Could Be Most Comfortable Playing. And Lastly Starting Tre Jones At The Point Or Another Choice which is my personal preference which is to Let Sidy Cissoko Start At The Point Guard Position And See How It Goes ( I believe he could make the game better for the spurs right now ).
I think With This Lineup They could win more than 50% Of Their Next Games. But Most Importantly Breaking The Losing Streak.

Wemby gotta play the 5. He's being babied. Dude is 7'4. He played good at the 5. Things will change if they keep him at center. He makes the opposing team's center have to come out of the paint. Put Sochan back at the 4 spot. Let Cedi Osman run the point. My starting 5: Wemby, Keldon, Vassell, Osman, Sochan. They will win some games until they get a good point guard. Coach Pop haters and fans should know by now that Pop is working on long term. Everything he does has a purpose and has resulted in an organization that is envied and replicated the world over. If you’re a true fan and you’ve followed the Spurs since birth, then you should know better. What we can do is build the team up with words of encouragement.
