Reality is is that he needs to be a trade chip for a significant piece, it’s all good doing trade machine variations but that doesn’t take talent on board and whether the team would actually pull the trigger- ain’t no one on either team in question that we want

If the Knicks start hanging their heads, how bout a coaching change. Is Donte the new Grimes now ? What about all this iso ball with 3 guys taking turns every game? How is it Grimes can get shots off the bench, are the starters uncoachable ball hogs . This is a selfish team coached by a selfish coach, getting rid of guys to appease Tibbs, then looking to trade for what you got rid of. Time to trade a coach not a player.
I read that the main reason for not signing Quick was because he is more valuable in a trade and easier to trade now. He can be the main piece but then we can throw in Fournier (for example) as the main salary. Get back a promising vet and rid ourselves of Fournier. But yeah, we are paying to get rid of mistakes, AGAIN.
Quickley is with ROC Nation Sports not CAA. Because of the amount of money they been paying bench players it's a safe bet to take knowing the Knicks at some point are going to consolidate this roster.

Trade IQ and a pick for maybe Keldon Johnson and maybe Jeremy Sochan. If we can make this trade we can move RJ to the shooting guard position and Keldon Johnson would be our small forward, and Jeremy Sochan can be our power forward off the bench for Randle. Or trade IQ for Sochan and sign OG Anunoby as a free agent. And also get a new coach. Maybe give Scottie Bryant a chance as the head coach and surround him with a great veteran staff. Try and get Dave Jaeger as the defensive mind, and Alvin Gentry as the offensive coach. We aren't going anywhere with this iso ball game. We need "BALL MOVEMENT"! TEAM BASKETBALL. And if Julius Randle doesn't buy in, then trade him too.

Why would the Knicks let IQ go for nothing??? They will either sign him or trade him. The Spurs have 2 top ten picks in the draft I would be interested in the second pick and more. Toppin situation is different. IQ is more productive and more teams are interested in IQ.
