  1. Brooklyn started off the road trip not in rhythm and couldn't find a real rhythm the whole game.

The biggest negative was the fact the Kings got way too many open looks with three point buckets and the physicality and assertiveness on defense just wasn't there….

But Brooklyn did play some decent defense on Sabonis….

Still Brooklyn needs to show that they can play a solid competitive game against top playoff opponents….

  2. Cam Thomas needs to break out soon and get back to his scoring dominance.

While it's been good to see Thomas improve with his assists and playmaking, having Thomas get back into this bad habit of over dribbling the ball instead of taking the buckets he knows he can make isn't Thomas playing at his full level….

During this West trip Thomas just needs to take over a game or two and get back to scoring at will at the rim….

  3. The fans fought to get Cam Thomas into the starting line up. I have a feeling they'll be turning on him soon.

  4. DSJ and/or Walker are clearly missed off the bench. Not a popular opinion among Nets fans but I think bringing CamT off the bench until one of them get back might be the move for this road trip

  5. I thought are bigs did a pretty good job on Sabonis from what I saw through 3 quarters before I fell asleep.

  6. Nets are 6-2 in their last 8 games. The Kings shot a franchise record 55.6% from 3. The Nets shot close to 49% from 3. On most nights we win shooting that high of a percentage.

  7. A few observations come to mind. CT seems a bit heavier and less explosive, likely due to limited cardio with a sprained ankle. He's also getting scouted now. The opposing center leaves Clax or Dayron to trap, as our bigs lack offensive skills beyond the lob threat. CT's touch is a bit off. On the positive side, CT's presence alongside Bridges has opened up the floor for Bridges, leading to an all-star campaign. The challenge is for JV to find a way to get both Bridges and CT performing well together. Despite this, it's hard to complain when the Nets have gone 6-2 in the last 8 games.

  8. love the pod boys but I gotta say I abhor the whispering “basketball” addition at the end … just one measly fan out here so do with that what you will 😅

  9. Lol going to Sacramento is like going to Albany. There's nothing in Sac. Good place to raise a family, but that's about it. This is coming from someone born and raised in Sac.
