Get new coaches ASAP and maybe Cavs can still get into playoffs. Get rid of JB and Walton.
Evan , you gotta stop being so Russell Wilson school of PR with the Cavs. You never tell it how it is with them, always couching their bad play inside positive strokes. There isn't positive here…they lost two in a row doing stupid sh*** in a game they could've won. The cavs can't beat good teams because they're hamstrung by JB
Imo 5 rebounds by your starting center isn’t good … Allen is a rim runner/protector.. pretty elite. His rebounding is why he’s not a winning player, gotta fix it or go
JB is really clueless on how to use his roster. Koby really needs to look at the team now and realize JB is not the solution, and CPJ needs to be an active member on this roster.
Role definition is really JBs biggest weakness. A close second is minutes distribution.
JA, Okoro, and when healthy, Evan needs to be the half court offense facilitator. DG, Spida, Strus, Niang, and Caris' shooting are more needed than their ball handling. U have to make the opposition guard the whole floor and not just some of the floor. Okoro and when healthy should never be in the corner waiting for a catch and shoot opportunity. I would rather have DG, Spida, Strus, Niang, or Caris wait in the corner than Ice and Evan.
JBs offense is terrible, but his defense is worse because his scheme doesn't fit his roster. We are smaller and slower than last year team. We are a zone team. Teams are getting to the foul line because we are not meant to play in the overswitching, overhelping man defense.
Here is the rotation since Koby will not convert CPJs contract:
Starters;
DG @ PG for 36
Spida @ SG for 36
Strus @ SF for 30
Okoro @ PF for 27
JA @ C for 33
Bench;
Caris @ 24 mins backing up Spidaland
Niang @ 21 mins backing up okoro
Wade @ 18 mins backing up Strus
Tristan @ 15 backing up JA
JB has to go if he doesn't realize how to use the roster correctly.
27 to 9 is a big FT disparity
It is not all JB BICKERSTAFF, looking at Garland turnovers king not a good leader not
