Exum was just a great signing at the price. Perfect discounted player to have on a team with Luka.
It worried me with how they were using him (or weren't) to begin the season, but looks like it has been worked out now.
He can do a little bit of everything. He is unselfish and he plays hard on defence. And it isn't a flash in the pan, he has been doing it for 2 seasons in Europe.
He still is taking over and he going to do it for a while until his body breaks down. Hopefully he plays til his late 30s like 38.

Most people don't realize this but ever since that 30-0 run against the Thunder it feels like Luka and Mavs have realized that they can shift another level, and it looks like they have – even without Kyrie. Imagine if Kyrie gets back. 💀

Well if we will look back from last season the mavs had a very good start as well. Same to Luka he started last season in mvp mode. But they ended up nothing. They lost even in play in. I hope they'll be consistent, big chance for Luka's 1st mvp.
Mavs just need one more PF. They will be the contender for the chip.
