Last night was an unfortunate loss on a back to back against the championship Denver Nuggets but considering Brooklyn was a little fatigued they tried their best to stay in the fight. Some positives were Trendon Watford and Jalen Wilson both got some important minutes and each contributed to keep the energy up.
Brooklyn has had some tough opponents in the Dallas Mavs Milwaukee Bucks Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets and obviously all four of them are championship caliber teams but each of those losses are a learning experience for Brooklyn on how they can continue to improve and eventually get to that level of those teams….
But we also need to address the big trade rumor thats been attached to Brooklyn lately and that's potentially acquiring Donovan Mitchell in the future….
For months NBA pundits have assumed that Mitchell wouldn't be signing a contract extension with the Cavs and could be traded as soon as next summer.
Brooklyn has the contracts and draft capital to make a very enticing offer to the Cavs and acquiring someone of Mitchell's scoring elk would give Brooklyn a strong core four of Donovan Mitchell Mikal Bridges Cam Johnson and Nic Claxton 🔥….
It will be interesting to see if momentum picks up throughout the season into the summer….
I’m gonna be honest, I’m not even mad about this loss I expected this to happen it was a back-to-back and yeah the Nuggets are a much better team.
