I want him to be a lifer, even though he may chase a ring somewhere else, and I won’t blame him one bit.
He is the heart and soul of a team that grinds hard effectively.
It really feels like he fits the culture. 100% and with the new life this team has, he needs to stay. I hate to say that it was all Zach, but there is something to say about the type of play he demanded as the superstar. Caruso wants to see his team benefit from his play. Not be the star of the show. A humble team that lets its game speak for itself is coming….

ok, you are saying 2 picks is minimum, and than you purpose trades with 1 pick… if 2 pick is minimum (which i agree) so by it.
AC is great and would help create culture..But you only keep him if you retool, not if you really rebuild. Caruso will win you enough games that you don't pick high enough. Similar to Mirotic, thanks to him we picked #7 and missed out on better odds to get Doncic. If bulls rebuild they have to be bottom 3, as bad as Detroit, Spurs and Washington. Bulls and fans that want rebuild need to be willing to be that bad.

AC obviously deserves better, and should be on contenders, but man keeping him to play his defense/leader role for the younger guys would be amazing
The issue comes down to how badly the front office mishandled the assets they have which almost makes a Caruso trade necessary due for the fact that Caruso is going to accumulate significant draft capital

Also, he's a very, very smart player. Sometimes you'll see him teaching the young guys midgame. How they should be guarding someone properly, and telling them what they shouldn't do.
I think he's invaluable for the development of our upcoming kids.
I don't think there's a trade that I'd be cool with trading AC, outside of getting a superstar.

I don’t like any of these trades involving Caruso RESPECTFULLY. It’s starting to look like we’re going to get finessed in any trade involving Derozan, Caruso and Lavine. I mean… They are openly stating that one of those guys doesn’t even have a market.
I wouldn’t be looking to trade Caruso at all… I would add to him in getting back to a top 5 defense if anything. A win now player that was mentioned is PG CJ McConnell. A floor general who would add to the defense and fill a much needed role. Buddy Hield is rumored to be traded as well. I wouldn’t do any trade with the Lakers involving Lavine or Caruso simply because we would be getting back ass players SORRY.
You know that you are a die hard Bulls fan if you don’t want Lebron to win anything due to our battles with him and our 2011 Bulls squad. Lakers would solidify a spot in the WCF if they land Lavine, Derozan or Caruso. I’m not in this to see Lebron win anything and compare himself to Jordan shortly after.

Caruso was the 8th best player on a title team. If he’s your only hope, you’re just gonna be stuck in the mud. And HE WILL leave in free agency unless you pay him big money.
I’m on the don’t trade Caruso side. He’s a huge asset, a veteran presence in a young locker room, and a hustle-leader w grit who has the respect of his team (and opponents). Lakers traded him and now want him back! Let’s not repeat their mistake…
AC staying is all I wanna hear. He’s the literal foundation of this team moving forward with Coby and Pat. And he’s only getting better. He is the exact mentality and future we are trying to build. Absolutely makes no sense to move him.
