No.24 Miami picked up a hard-fought win over a stingy La Salle team, 84-77. The Canes’ held a major (+14) advantage on the glass to help them notch the win. Wooga Poplar and Norchad Omier had strong scoring afternoons, as they racked up 25 and 23 points respectively in the win. Omier was very efficient: shooting 8-13 from the floor and 7-7 from the stripe.
