Javon Freeman-Liberty and Jontay Porter deserve a shot to see what they can add to the Raps rotation. Having Jaylen Nowell and Terence Davis on the roster in place of Thad Young and Garrett Temple would help add to the bench depth as well. Raps are not good enough to have three DNP anchor vets (OPJ, Temple, Young) at the end of their bench. They need all the talent that they can roster.
The problem is the O should be running through pascal.. No one can stop Siakam off the switch…

The Hawks package was not that great anyway . I like the Kings potential package alot more. Why do we keep swinging only to miss time after time. At this point why not give a couple of the better performing 905 players a chance. Someone like Freeman Liberty a look see .

Every game where the Raptors have enjoyed an unusually good shooting night, GAYRONNNNNNTEEEEEEEEED!!! (Charles Barkley reference) they will lose the next one. If the opponent has several of their better players out for whatever reason, place your bets folks–because the Raps are going to lose in extraordinary fashion. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!! This team can't even tank properly, because we will win just enough to lose our draft pick. I'm absolutely sick at how this team played so well in the first 7 maybe 10 games, and looked so promising… Then completely reverted back to playing the shitty basketball from last season, and losing games in all the same ways. It wasn't NN… This roster is horribly flawed! Pack the paint, foul the F out of our players and dare us to shoot the 3 and take your chances with the outcome–it's the worst kept secret in the NBA. At this rate, this team as constructed will be lucky to have more than 10 games where they don't piss away 7-12 points on the FT line, and/or and make more than 12 3pt shots at over 35% per game. These are indeed dark days to be a Raptors fan…

Darko has been given a mandate by Ujiri to develop the younger players which is what he's trying to do. Sure, he's made some questionable in game decisions but let us not forget, he's been mandated by the front office to develop the younger guys. I get a kick out of Ben Rogers and others harping on Gradey Dick. Gradey Dick is more than just a shooter, he does a lot of the little things that are overlooked in the general hysteria about his shooting, he's more than just a one dimensional player. He'll be fine. Remember when Dick put up 16 against Philly early in the season.Yes, i wouldn't mind seeing JFL, Porter and Markquis for that matter get a shot. Winslow too.

One word – rebuild. Raptors management cannot keep hoping we will be a playoff team this year if we don't have the ideal wing players to create spacing and great 3-point shooting. Also, we have defence miscommunications in every game. Bench production is a major issue where players like Trent, Boucher, Achiuwa, and Flynn are not meeting expectations. The starters and bench players could not build sufficient chemistry on the court which is a huge liability.
@ben rogers hypothetically you can say markkanen is available but reports out there is danny ainge and the jazz will wait till they get a rudy gobertesque trade for lauri markkanen. so the only team that could give the picks and players is likely okc only.
We got 3 bumz in the starting line up shooting 25% , 30% and 0% from 3pt. To put that in percpective russel westbrick avg 31% from 3pt for his career😂
@ben rogers also the key date is dec 29 for siakam because after january he is only eligible to sign a 2 year extension which he wont. after january any team that trades for siakam is guaranteed to have siakam go to free agency. before dec 29 siakam can sign a 4 year extension.

My main concern with Gradey, from what I've seen in 905 highlight videos, is he's not playing with confidence and he isn't demanding the ball enough. He looks deflated and half engaged on most plays. It also seems like he's just being stuck in the corner for rare outlet plays which if you watch his college ball highlights he was allowed to work off the dribble more. Now it's like he's being expected to be more of a catch and shoot outlet option, though I don't think that was his playstyle before. He has good ball control when driving to the hoop, and makes high IQ passes to outlets when the defense collapses on him, so I don't see why we wouldn't want him to continue playing that way. I'd really like to see him be a lot more greedy with the 905 and playing like the number 1 option there, since that is what he should be there.

Trade may be imminent for Siakam prior to the end of December. If Siakam is traded after December 30th the most a team can offer him is a 2 year 84m dollar extension…making it a higher chance he doesn’t resign with the team he’s traded to as he could get more in free agency. However if Pascal is traded before December 30 the team who receives him can resign him to the 4 year 192m extension.

Raptors are gonna struggle this season and fans are gonna have to get used to the losing like in the Tampa season, it's a transition season. I think the problem for Raptors fans, our standards are way too high and we haven't been used to losing since 2014. We just gotta focus on seeing the young guys on this team getting better and seeing what changes we're going to make at the deadline. I ain't worried about Gradey, I think he's going to be a late bloomer, he ain't Scoot who's terrible, so I ain't worried.
