   Rather him do that than just sit on the bench… that being said he should be getting the backup 4 minutes at this point. It’s a travesty we can’t find him 10-12 minutes a game

   We let Buddy shoot his way out of slumps when he’s a huge negative

   We let Bruce shoot his way out of slumps when he’s a negative

   We don’t even let Jarace play, even when he does decent on defense and makes his threes.

   So much for “competing for spots”. Just blind vet favoritism.

   I was upset at first but it actually makes sense. They’re having a G league showcase which is similar to the IST. This gives Jarace the opportunity to play elimination games and get experience playing in more pressure situations. This will be really good for him and Sheppard

   It’s frustrating to not see Jarace play, but the idea that he will only improve with NBA minutes is just false. Look at his G League stats, he looks fantastic. And he’s absolutely been using those minutes to get better.

   He’s a quarter of the way into his first NBA season. He’s 20 years old. The Pacers starter at his position is on the last year of his contract. Let’s have some patience.

   Rick got tired of reading about his garbage minute distribution. Glad Jarace gets to play meaningful minutes somewhere, even if he’s going to shit on all these G-Leaguers.
